Can this build be cheaper?

Can this build be cheaper?

TLDR: is there a way to fit the 5600gt on this budget?

I was planning a 60k build but due to certain events the budget is now 40k preferably below that. A few things before I post the build.

  1. The ssd is only a boot drive, I have an nvme I salvaged.

  2. I dont want to cheap out on the PSU.

  3. I dont need a GPU.

  4. feel free to suggest changes to the components.

Your experience with Intel GPU?

I wanted to ask if anyone who used/is using the Intel arc graphics card, how has your experience been so far?

  1. did you face driver issue?

  2. compatability issue with software(especially old games)?

  3. any other notable things you might want to add.

What happens if I exceed the max ram supported for my laptop?

Lenovo laptop V14-ADA Type82C6 [ 82C6000LIH ]

my model has an AMD 3250U, the hardware manual specifies a max ram of 4+8(soldered and unsoldered respectively)

what should actually happen as the CPU itself has a higher max memory supported in comparision to the manual? Would it cause system instability(i.e. crash, no boot, etc.) if I added more ram?

Share good RMA experiences

Going to build a PC in arond july/August so wanted to know which companies have reliable RMA in India or any extra details that help to claim them.

feel free to share any good or bad or ugly experiences with RMA you have had.

Loss of physical media.

A rant partly nostalgia partly facts about the current state of hardware where owning media is harder and getting a PC case with a 5.25 drive that is not an office pc and has decent airflow cost an absurd amount for what it is.

I love owning physical media, CDs especially, i remember having a booklet to go through that you curated getting a a shady cd and doing the mental math of if the compressed game files would be on 3 CDs or 4 and you are not buying 2gbs of viruses but all that is gone for conveniece; some extremely good effects with the barrier to entry reduced if people knew enough but the physical community aspect definitly took a hit imo.

do you ever think about the physical media you used to own? What do you think about the current trend of hardware?

I am personally paranoid that in India the mid range budgets like 50k,60k (equivalents with future inflation) will become extinct in a few years when and if Geforce now or any remote play gets big enough of a foothold forcing consumers in the mid to low budget range onto a subscription model and then they would be trapped in that. not being able to choose the titles outside a limited menu of games that are "approved by shareholders".

8600g build for 60k or a laptop 60k?

I know AM5 isn't the best value for money but i will probably add a gpu later(atleast 2 years) so i want to keep the upgrade options open.
