I wanted to see what the reality is like for Kei owners in PA compared to the broad language in the rules. I haven’t had any issues so far, but wanted to see if anyone else has. Especially with either PSP or the wrong local cop
Occasional use is spelled out. one day a week. Hard to enforce but it’s there.
no commercial use, that’s fairly obvious. As long as you don’t have advertising on the truck that probably safe.
But then we get this: "Antique, classic and collectible registration plates may not be displayed on a vehicle used to transport passengers or property."
And that’s about as broad as it gets. If you get the wrong cop, your buddy in the passenger seat or a sheet of plywood in the bed technically breaks the law.
I know what I’m comfortable with but has anyone actually gotten in trouble for hauling something?
Finally made it happen, first Kei truck
HA7 on the U-Haul Toy Hauler. it worked, but it was just on the ramps. Amazing trailer though, pulled great and so many tiedown points.
