2026 Monitor Buying Help

Hey all,

I think I'm getting lost in the sauce and have no clue what I want to upgrade my monitor to. I'd appreciate some guidance

I currently have an AGON AG241QG - 24", 1440p, TN, 165HZ. I have an RTX3070 so I play all my games in 1440p (It's on my list to upgrade the GPU but probably not for another year). It's served me well for about 7 years.

The issue I'm having is, whenever I search up about OLED or Mini LED monitors, all I hear about is "smearing this" and "ghosting that", and sagas about burn-in, so whenever I see I model I like, I constantly jump ship to find something else. In reality, all I want is something better than what I have. I have very limited knowledge about panel types etc and when I look up resources it goes in one ear and out the other.

I want something bigger, either 27" or 34". 1440p. Don't need a crazy high refresh rate, 144hz at a minimum.

I mainly play Teamfight Tactics (I know, I know), Single player story based games, roguelikes, and also an avid sim racer when time allows. I'll play the odd FPS but by no means do I tryhard in them. I'd also like built in speakers if possible as I do like to keep my headphones off and an adjustable stand. I also use my monitor for work when I'm at home (99% of the time I WFH, mainly in outlook) and produce music using Cubase.

These are the models I've looked at that peak my interest:

OLED:

Alienware AW3423DWF

ASUS XG34WCDG

MSI 341CQP

ASUS XG27AQWMG

Alienware AW2725D

Mini LED:

AOC Q27G3XMN/BK

MSI MAG X30MV

TCL 34R83Q

KTC M27T6

Any help is really appreciated. I'm not bound to the models above. Take care all!
