For context, I’m new to my Tesco role (maybe been here about 2 weeks now), and recently I had a quick chat with a team support/ shift leader (idk what they are called haha), and it was an informal ‘lets talk’.

He says im not in trouble and it was just to clarify a few things (eg BOB and LISA, and ensuring to always check bottom of bags/ extra bags when checking SAYS, or always ensuring to move stock with someone else when working at CSD etc etc.

He spoke to me whilst my till was quiet, I read and signed the form. Is this just a precaution, or should I be worried? Ik he said its nothing to worry about but just wanted to double check, is this something they make new people do?

I applied for a colleague role at a Tesco Extra, but I’m only contracted to work weekends.

My question is (and I know this is dependent on a number of factors, such as location and festive period), how likely is it that I’ll be able to find overtime during the weekdays? I do want to work more than just weekends but it’s what I’m currently contracted, and I do plan on taking up overtime in the weekdays but am unsure how much is actually available in the weekdays 😭.
