Anyone else finding the sleep tracking completely wrong after switching to google health?
(using a fitbit one on the wristband)
I'm lucky enough to be a good sleeper and that's always been mirrored by the sleep scores - usually in the high/mid 80s and I haven't dipped below 75 in over a decade. But after the switch to google health I've had multiple nights below 60; checking them it's all cases where the sleep cycle hasn't started recording until 2-3 hours after I fell asleep.
Editing the sleep doesn't help as it just registers me as lying awake for the first 2-3 hours which I definitely wasn't doing!
I've not changed my sleeping habits at all, so this must be a google issue. Anyone else experiencing it? Any suggestions?

timeshighereducation.comIs there any way to turn off/stop tracking features in google health?
for e.g. if I'd like to stop tracking body temperature forever, can I stop collecting this data or do I just have to manually delete it every time?
If I don't care about my (entirely made up) "readiness" or "resilience" scores, is there ANY way to stop the app tracking them?

timeshighereducation.comHappened to someone I follow yesterday. They used the burger king meme that's going around to say something about him, unfortunately it was deleted before I saw it so I don't know what it said, but the poster isn't someone who posts particularly incendiary things and I think this is the first time I've seen them even sideways reference Aaron since Juni got banned. But no warnings, no strikes, just a permanent ban for harassment. ETA apparently there's a racist bk meme, it wasn't that, it was the new burger and font logo generator
Given the temp ban of [radishharmers] (https://bsky.app/profile/mykafuiohkafui.bsky.social/post/3ml54vtl3ds2l) for saying "we need to persecute the mods" I suggest that if you value your bsky account you need to be extremely careful how you talk about any of the mods or dev team, even if it is clearly a joke, even if you've never mentioned them before, even if you have tiny reach, even if it's just a silly meme that doesn't use their name. One strike can be out here.

>French university canteens began offering one-euro meals to all students regardless of income on Monday, in a measure designed to address financial hardship.
>The move follows a push by student unions to extend the one-euro rate for a three-course meal to all students, down from the usual 3.30 euros.
>The price, which covers a starter, main course and dessert, was previously only available to those with low incomes or receiving financial aid
How much does a 3 course meal on campus cost you? Would you trust your uni to provide a £1 meal?
[ETA for data point that yes, this is a goverment subsidy, and yes, slightly fewer French young people get degrees, but it's not wildly different to the UK although the overall application/entry system is different - something like 53-55% of French people between 25-30 have a degree, while it's closer to 58-60% in the UK]
