Novacium signs 36-month LOI to explore GEN4 lithium-ion cell sales in Asia-Pacific, a region representing ~57% of global cylindrical battery demand
Issued on behalf of HPQ Silicon (TSXV: HPQ) (OTCQB: HPQFF)
Novacium SAS, a battery technology company in which HPQ Silicon Inc. holds a 36.8% equity interest, has signed a Letter of Intent to explore selling its GEN4 lithium-ion cells into the Asia-Pacific region.
The non-binding, non-exclusive LOI runs for 36 months and covers light electric mobility, embedded systems, and high-energy electronic devices. Asia-Pacific accounts for approximately 57% of global demand for cylindrical battery cells. Novacium's GEN4 cells have reported capacity exceeding 6,600 mAh, compared to roughly 5,000 mAh for standard graphite cells.
HPQ Silicon Inc. holds exclusive North American rights to commercialize these technologies under the HPQ ENDURA+ trademark.
