>The top 10 rankings remain unchanged, with Minions & Monsters leading the way with €688,833 and an average of €1,257 in 548 theaters. After four days, the total has already reached €2,109,127, confirming the strong start of the new installment in Illumination's franchise.
>Animation is still in second place, with Toy Story 5 earning €234,642 (-55% from seven days ago) and averaging €557 in 421 theaters (versus €569 seven days ago). The Disney/Pixar film has grossed €7,079,896 since June 18th and is on pace to reach €8 million by the end of the week. Toy Story 5 is the second highest-grossing film in the franchise, behind Toy Story 3 with over €13 million.

>The box office is predictably led by Minions & Monsters , which on its third day of release earned another €421,971 and 54,042 admissions in 530 theaters, surpassing the first major milestone of €1 million and bringing the total to €1,416,363. For now, the start appears to be softer than the major recent installments of the Illumination franchise. Minions 2: The Rise of Gru opened with €1,550,122 on its opening day on August 18, 2022, while Despicable Me 4 debuted with €1,419,362 on August 21, 2024. >When evaluating Minions & Monsters, it's important to consider that this installment is being released in the middle of summer and faces direct competition from Toy Story 5, which appeals to a very similar audience. Two factors that may have influenced the first three days' figures. It's also worth remembering that this is a title aimed primarily at families, an audience that traditionally concentrates a significant portion of its attendance between Saturday and Sunday: the real test will therefore come during the first full weekend of programming.
>Toy Story 5 confirms its second place , grossing another €168,160 with 21,682 admissions, reaching a total of €6,844,558. The Pixar film thus continues its run in its third week of release, preparing to surpass the €7 million mark this weekend, proving that it isn't suffering too much from competition from the Minions.

>Minions & Monsters topped the charts on its second day, grossing €342,684. The animated film Illumination's total is €904,850; a strong start that gives us confidence for its weekend performance, which is expected to reach around €2-2.2 million.
>Toy Story 5 holds up well in second place with €132,052 (-51% from seven days ago). The Disney/Pixar film was inevitably impacted by the release of Minions & Monsters , but it still reached a total of €6,641,056 since June 18. The €8 million mark is an achievable goal.
>The other films in the ranking are far behind. Starting with third-place Disclosure Day , which closed the day with €34,623 (-46%). The Steven Spielberg film's total is €4,283,775 since June 10th.
