Every time i want to share a though about the dessendre family or i saw someone else's post or comment, my mind fly directly to this, anyone else? 😅🤣

Lately i have started to see some more people paint Renoir in a good light (ha ha paint) but i still see a lot more people against him saying stuff like "he didnt let Aline grief", "he wanted to force Aline to do what he said", "he wanted to destroy the canvas", "he didnt listen to his wife", "he is a genocide", "He is not considering Aline's feelings".

And personally, i can understand Aline grief, he lost his son and wanted to hold to the last part of him, but what about Renoir pespective? He also lose his son, and not only that, he saw how his wife turned her back on her daughter, a daughter that also lose his brother and that was heavily injured, that lost an eye, her voice and got terrible scars, and after that he saw her wife went into a canvas planning to stay inside until it killed her, and saw how his other daughter tried to carry all of the family problems on her shoulders (as we saw represented in Clea's Axon)

So to the points of :

>"he didnt let aline grief", "he didnt listen to his wife"

Aline was plannig on staying inside until it killed her, he even made inmortal painted versions of the family just to stay as long as she could, and we know they have been fighting for 67 years but, we also know this lumiere wasnt the first lumiere, so it is possible that she has stayed ther more than 67 years in total, for example pVerso told pRenoir that he has lived more than a lifetime, and i doubt a lifetime would be 67 years (or maybe it was with the gommage and all)

Thecnically yes, but in this case what he wanted was her well being, as i said in the last point it was pretry clear she planned to stay until she died, so if you already lose a son, i doubt you would want to let your wife die too, even more while the war is still going and you dont know it they will try to kill someone else again, specially when your oldest daughter is fighting alone, putting her life in danger for fighting alone the guys that already killed your son

He literally told us at the end that he didnt want to, after all the canvas has the last remain of Verso's soul... that is ALSO his son, not just Aline's. But he had to do it because Aline was killing herself trying to cling to that last piece, and we saw it, she came back to the canvas pretty quick and then Renoir show us how bad she was outside for overstaying... even more Alicia confirmes his way of thinking when she said she didnt want to leave either, and she is the worst painter of the family (in skills) so if her mother is dying, even if she already know how to stay long periods of time, why Alicia would be ok if it was obvious he mother stopped teaching her(im basing this on the fact that the Diary said that Aline dont even wanted to see her, and Verso had to teach her how to paint her friends back) and is pretty possible she didnt teached her how to stay long periods, and even if she did, on her time as maelle she already stayed 16 years without taking the precautions

This is more up to interpretation, based if you think the painted humans are people or no, but even if they where!!

He can paints them back as esay as he unpainted them, i mean maelle said he couldnt bring back the older expeditioners, but thats Maelle/Alicia, the worst painter, Aline was too busy painting new ones and Renoir trying tl avoid her from doing that, but its pretty possible that either of them could just paint back everyone that has gommaged before if they wanted, i mean Alicia bring back all of Lumiere citizens she knew, so even if he killed them, is not like it has that much of an impact if he could just flip his brush and bringh back each and every people he had gommaged if he wanted

Personally i think that the people that hate him as i have read they say "he doesnt consider Aline's feelings", they are not considering Renoir's, and i dont know if its because he is the antagonist, if its because his painted Version killed our GOAT, that the idea that "men don't feel" is still so present that they just ignore or doesnt care about Renoir's point of view, but i find it pretty weird, why use points like "Aline lost her son" when it was also Renoir's son, when he also suffered, or it is just because we didnt saw him in such a deep sad and self destructive state as Alines?, what do you think?

Edit: i keep getting the same answer of "but without a canvas they can be brought back" i know, i suppose i didnt explain myself, what i meaned is that if they made amends with each others or Renoir forfeit, they could easily bring them back to the canvas so the gommages feeled(at least for me) like more than massive genocides, they were more like giving everyone times outs, that werent gone for good because they could be brought back(i know as long as there is a canvas, you dont have to repeat that, im sorry i didnt explained myself before 😅)

Hello, i have played the game almost feom the day it came out, and i didnt have much problems, but for some reseons i had to format my laptop, it has 2 disks and supposedly it just touched the disk with windows not the games, after that i reinstall all the nvidia updates and try to play the game, and i was welcome to this, and it was running awfull, after playing with the graphics i was able to move "smoothly", but their faces are still messed up, I already tried to fix the game directly from steam to check if any data was damaged but it told me it was fine, i even uninstalled it and reisntalled it and they faces are still like that, i dont know how to fix it on my own, so i came here to see if someone had a similar problem before and how it was fixed.

P.D: thanks to school i wasnt able to play more less since the "thank you update" in case it can be of help
