I've recently read the Bad Blood TP, and I've been wanting to get more into Jessica Drew content. What are the best comics to get her backstory and more into her character?
I love Power Girl, but I hate the way DC handles her character. She struggles with feeling out of place and alone, yet many of her most serious moments become less impactful because of the way the artist positions her. There seems to be a comment about her boobs in almost every issue, and it gets repetitive. If DC focused more on Power Girl's past, her personal struggles, and how she overcomes them instead of constantly emphasizing her chest, she would have stronger stories and probably be a much more popular character. I also think it's crazy that she's a Kryptonian with so much storytelling potential, and many creators choose to focus on her boobs more than anything else.
