Hey y'all. A neighbor I grew up next to is battling cancer. She is going through chemo and I want to crochet her something. I live far away now so it's really all I can think of to show support.

I'm looking for a yarn to make her a hat. Her favorite color is sage. I have been to all of the LYS in my area searching for a worsted weight sage in a fiber that won't irritate her scalp like maybe cotton mix or alpaca but haven't been able to find anything suitable. I don't want to use anything wool because I fear it will be too scratchy on her scalp.

Any yarn recommendations would be really appreciated.
