Next step after stretchy wrap? Do I try a different product or different positions?
hi all,
My baby girl and I (ftm) were loving our stretchy Moby wrap carrier, but lately she started hating it. I thought it was likely she was outgrowing it and didn’t feel supported anymore - she’s about 14 lbs. After reading some posts here, it seems like other people stop using stretchy wraps around that weight too.
What do folks graduate to? A woven wrap? A specific structured carrier? I loved baby wearing and I don’t want it to be over!!
Would she be more comfortable forward facing or on my back at this point? She’s super curious about everything, she’s been loving facing out while being held lately.
We have a Mabe carrier and a Tactical Baby Carrier that we got as gifts. We haven’t really used either because she didn’t seem big enough for them yet. I’ve tried the Mabe carrier at home but she’s gotten uncomfortable in a matter of minutes, so that hasn’t made it out of the house. I also didn’t know the Mabe carrier was controversial, it seems like people on this sub are not fans. Any opinions on the Tactical Baby Carrier?
ETA: My baby is just shy of four months old — she’s 15 weeks!
