One thing that really frustrates me with long ChatGPT sessions:
Everything goes brilliantly.
You’re solving something complex, refining ideas, building momentum…
Then right at the end:
• outputs get shorter
• instructions get forgotten
• constraints drift
• the final answer is suddenly rubbish
Is that just me, or do other heavy users see this too?
It annoyed me enough that I experimented with a simple user protocol to make the AI flag likely session degradation before things go off the rails.
If people are interested I’m happy to share what I came up with.
