3️⃣ Generate your weekly work report

Simply ask your AI Agent:

>"Generate my weekly work report."

Your AI Agent can use the AINOTE information you’ve authorized and organize the records from your week into a structured report.

4️⃣ Save the report to a new AINOTE note

Once your report is ready, you can keep it in AINOTE by asking your AI Agent:

>"Create a new note in AINOTE and save this weekly work report to it."

The AI Agent will create a new note and save the generated report there.

5️⃣ Sync and view your report in AINOTE

On your AINOTE device, tap the sync button to bring in the weekly report.
Once synced, it will appear as a new note, ready for you to review, edit or share.

A simple workflow, but it can make weekly reviews much easier:

  • Bring notes and schedules together for a more complete view of your week.
  • Generate a structured report with a simple prompt instead of compiling everything manually.
  • Save the finished report back to AINOTE so your weekly records stay in one place.

[AINOTE In One Image] PDF Import Workflows

Hey everyone!

We’ve shared a few comparison posts in this format before, and we’re now bringing them together under a new series name: AINOTE In One Image.

The goal is simple: make key AINOTE features and workflows easier to understand at a glance.

For this post, we’re comparing the two PDF workflows on AINOTE: Note PDF and Reading PDF. They may look similar on the surface, but they are designed for different kinds of use.

Note PDF is the better fit when the PDF is part of an active note-taking workflow. It works well for templates, meetings, classes, and any setup where handwriting, recording, transcription, and other note-taking features matter.

Reading PDF is the better fit when the PDF is more like a reading or planner file. If you rely on hyperlink navigation, jump points, or structured documents such as planners and textbooks, this is the workflow to use.

We’ll continue using AINOTE In One Image for visual comparisons and workflow explainers. Hope this one helps, and we’d love to hear what topics you’d like us to cover next.

[Workflow Spotlight] How Alex Uses AINOTE Skill to Turn Fragmented Notes into Actionable Project Momentum

Hi everyone!

The August 2026 update for the AINOTE Desktop App (v3.1.0.6 for Windows & Mac) is officially rolling out! Many of you might have already noticed the newly added AINOTE Skill feature.

Today, we’re breaking down a practical project management workflow inspired by Alex, a project manager, showing how to connect AINOTE with AI Agents like Claude Code or Codex to boost daily efficiency.

A project manager's day rarely begins with "making decisions"—it usually starts with "hunting for information":

  • Who mentioned this risk in yesterday's meeting?
  • Where was the customer's feature change request logged last week?
  • Is anyone actually following up on this action item?
  • Which meeting notes contain the updates needed for the weekly report?

For Alex, these questions were a daily headache.

It wasn’t that he lacked records. On the contrary, meeting minutes, project specs, task lists, and calendars were all meticulously saved in AINOTE. The real problem was fragmentation. Every time he needed to review progress, draft a weekly report, or drive next steps, he had to manually dig through notes, copy-paste snippets, and piece together the timeline.

That's why Alex started using AINOTE Skill.

By authorizing and exporting a Skill link via the AINOTE Desktop App, Alex connected his cloud-synced notes, schedules, and tasks directly to his favorite AI Agents (such as Claude Code or Codex). The Skill doesn't replace his judgment—it acts as an on-demand partner that helps him find information faster, clarify risks, and push tasks forward.

  1. From "Isolated Notes" to "Project Context"

Alex maintains dedicated AINOTE folders for each project, such as Project A | Meeting Logs, Requirements, and Release Plans.

After every weekly sync or review, notes are saved to the designated folder and backed up to the cloud. When reviewing project status, Alex no longer opens dozens of notes one by one. Instead, he asks his AI Agent:

>💬 Prompt:
"Browse the 'Project A' folder and read all meeting notes from the last 2 weeks. Summarize key progress, risks, open issues, and suggested next steps."

The AI Agent pulls the normalized text across authorized notes and instantly generates a structured summary.

  1. Turning Meeting Conclusions into Direct Action

After a meeting, what gets lost most easily isn't the notes—it's the execution: an identified risk without an owner, or a deadline written in text that never became a calendar reminder.

With AINOTE Skill, Alex pushes meeting outcomes straight into workflow execution:

>💬 Prompt:
"Based on the meeting notes from this week, extract all follow-up action items. Show me the draft list first. Once I confirm, create the corresponding AINOTE tasks with deadlines, and create a NEW note titled 'Project A - Action Items'."

Once confirmed, the AI Agent creates the tasks and saves a new summary note back to AINOTE. Static meeting logs now seamlessly feed into active execution.

  1. Weekly Reports Without Starting from Scratch

Drafting weekly reports is rarely hard, but it's time-consuming because it relies on memory: What did we complete this week? What’s still pending?

Now, Alex lets his AI Agent compile a first draft based on recent meeting notes, tasks, and schedules:

>💬 Prompt:
"Read my Project A meeting notes, task statuses, and schedules for this week. Generate a weekly report draft covering: Key Progress, Risk Alerts, Pending Issues, and Next Week's Plan."

The Agent handles the heavy lifting of information retrieval and structure. Alex simply reviews, adds his strategic insights, and sends it off. Weekly reporting transforms from "manual compilation" to "quick review and refinement."

A Natural Project Management Loop

The real value of this workflow lies in creating a continuous feedback loop:

>[1] Capture (in AINOTE)
[2] Context (organized in Cloud Folders)
[3] Synthesis (AI Agent reads & processes)
[4] Decision (PM verifies & confirms)
[5] Action & Flow-back (Tasks, reminders & new notes return to AINOTE)
🔄 (Feeds back into step 1 to build richer context for the next iteration)

As the project progresses, the documentation in AINOTE becomes richer, and the AI Agent's understanding becomes more seamless—eliminating repetitive copy-pasting for good.

📌 Mod Notes

To help you get started smoothly, here are a few technical details and boundaries to keep in mind:

  • Hardware Compatibility: This is a Desktop App software update (v3.1.0.6+). Both AINOTE 2 and AINOTE Air 2 users can use it!
  • Read-Only Safety for Existing Notes: To protect your original data, AI Agents can read note body text and create NEW notes/folders, but they cannot edit or overwrite existing note text or handwriting.
  • Calendar Scope: Version 3.1.0.6 currently supports schedules created directly within AINOTE devices/apps. Support for third-party synced calendars (e.g., Google Calendar, Outlook) will arrive in the next update.

💬 Community Discussion:

Have you updated your Desktop App to v3.1.0.6 yet? What workflows are you most excited to build using AINOTE Skill with Claude Code or Codex? Drop your favorite prompts or feedback in the comments below!

Hey everyone 👋

Ever wish the information you already have could be easier to organize, find, and put into action?

With AINOTE Skill, your notes and schedules can now become context for your AI Agents like Codex and Claude Code, helping you search, organize, summarize, and turn information into actionable insights.

Getting started is simple:

1️⃣ Sync your notes and schedules to AINOTE Cloud
On your AINOTE device, tap the sync button to make sure the notes and schedules you want to use are synced and backed up to AINOTE Cloud.

3️⃣ Enable Skill export in Desktop App
Go to Settings → AI Tool access, then choose what you want to share:

  • Notes
  • Schedules
  • Or both

You’re always in control of what your AI Agent can access. 🔒

https://preview.redd.it/x3evbgok43jh1.png?width=1691&format=png&auto=webp&s=a42ab094e334713db66716afc4be83c275fd9cd2

4️⃣ Copy the Skill link and install it in your AI Agent
Paste the link into your AI Agent and complete the installation. Once connected, your AI Agent can work with your authorized AINOTE information, helping you search, summarize, and organize your notes and schedules.

5️⃣ Start using AINOTE Skill
Try asking your AI Agent questions about your notes and schedules, such as:

- “Summarize my schedule and generate a simple weekly report.”

- “Check my AINOTE calendar and tasks for next week, highlight scheduling conflicts, and suggest timelines for unscheduled tasks.”

- “Review all notes in the 'Project A' folder, and summarize the key decisions, unresolved risks, and owners in chronological order.”

This makes it easier to:

- Connect your notes and schedules with your AI Agent without manual copy-paste

Quick guide to AINOTE Air 2 note types

Hey everyone!

We’ve noticed that some users feel a bit confused after the recent note updates, especially when comparing the older AINOTE Air 2 note types with the newer Merge Note format.

Here’s a simple breakdown:

  • Write Note is handwriting-first, best for quick handwritten pages, sketches, formulas, and full-page OCR.
  • Text Note is text-editing-first, best for clean drafts, outlines, checklists, keyboard typing, and handwriting-to-text workflows.
  • Record Note is recording-first, best for meetings, lectures, interviews, handwriting during audio notes, images, scans, and AI Summary.
  • Merge Note is a unified mixed note format, bringing writing, recording, transcription, mind maps, Meeting Summary, and Note Q&A into one place. It also works better with tasks: when you create a task inside a Merge Note, you can later open it from the Task tab and jump back to the original note where that task was created.

The key point: each note type is independent.
Features depend on the note type you create, so a feature available in one note type may not automatically appear in another.

Hope this makes it easier to choose the right note type for your workflow.

Hey everyone!

Still spending too much time reviewing meeting recordings?

AINOTE Auto Recording Summary helps turn your recordings into clear, structured summaries automatically.

Once the recording ends, you’ll be automatically taken to the Summary page, where AI extracts key information, highlights important points, and creates an organized summary — so you can quickly review what matters without replaying the entire conversation.

What We Learned from v2.3.0 — And What's Coming Next

Hi everyone!

A huge thank you to everyone who shared AINOTE 2 feedback after the v2.3.0 release.

Over the past few weeks, we've been reading through feedback from hundreds of users across our community and beta program. One thing became very clear: many of you rely on AINOTE 2 every day for meetings, note-taking, and getting work done.

Your feedback doesn't just help us improve individual features—it helps shape the direction of AINOTE 2 as a whole.

What we're happy to see

We're really encouraged by the response to v2.3.0.

Overall satisfaction remained strong, with users rating the release around 8/10 on average, and our beta testers reported even higher satisfaction. It's great to know that many of the improvements introduced in this version are making a positive difference.

Even more importantly, many of you told us that AINOTE 2 has become an essential part of your daily workflow—from meeting recordings and AI summaries to organizing notes and managing work.

That's exactly the experience we want to continue improving.

---

What we heard from you

As we reviewed your feedback, several requests came up repeatedly.

Some of the most frequently mentioned suggestions included:

  • Better control over recordings, such as removing audio while keeping the note itself
  • Improved PDF and eBook reading experience, especially support for annotations and smoother navigation
  • More flexible customization, including toolbar placement and workspace layout
  • Better handwriting tools, such as shapes, straight lines, and image insertion
  • Recording that continues reliably while multitasking or when the device is locked
  • More flexible export options for handwritten notes and PDFs
  • Easier navigation through long notes, including faster scrolling
  • More customization for note zoom and viewing preferences
  • Greater personalization, such as cleaner wallpapers and fewer visual distractions
  • Continued improvements to PDF loading performance and overall app stability

It was great to see how detailed and thoughtful your feedback was. Whether it was a small quality-of-life improvement or a bigger workflow request, every suggestion helps us better understand how you use AINOTE 2 in real life—and where we should focus next.

---

Here's how we're acting on your feedback

One of the most valuable outcomes of this survey wasn't just understanding what users enjoy today—it was seeing exactly where we can make AINOTE 2 even better.

Here's how we're already acting on some of the feedback you've shared.

You told us note-taking should be more flexible.

We're responding with several improvements in the next update, including:

  • the ability to remove recordings while keeping the note itself;
  • PDF import for notes;
  • AI Templates with both official and custom templates;
  • improved page management for easier organization across notes.

These are just some of the changes we're making to help you capture and organize information more efficiently.

---

You told us sharing and exporting notes should be easier.

We're responding with improvements including:

  • TXT export support;
  • the option to include or skip a table of contents when exporting;
  • smoother workflows for organizing and managing note content.

We're aiming to make it much easier to move your notes between AINOTE 2 and the tools you use every day.

---

You told us you wanted more control over your workspace.

We're responding with updates such as:

  • a movable tool bar;
  • optional wallpaper without branding;
  • recurring events for better long-term planning.

We're continuing to make AINOTE 2 more flexible, so it can adapt to different ways of working.

---

You also asked us to keep improving the everyday experience.

We're continuing to refine localization, polish the interface, and improve overall stability and usability.

Some of these changes may be less noticeable than new features, but they make AINOTE feel more intuitive, reliable, and enjoyable to use every day.

---

And there's more to come.

These are just a few examples of how we're acting on your feedback—not the complete list.

We'll be sharing a more detailed roadmap for AINOTE 2 soon, where we'll dive deeper into what's coming next.

---

Thank you for helping shape AINOTE

Every update is shaped by conversations with our community.

Some ideas can be implemented quickly, while others require more time and engineering effort. But every suggestion helps us decide what to build next.

We'll continue listening, improving, and sharing our progress with you along the way.

👉 Which improvement are you most excited about?

👉 And what would you like us to work on after that?

We read far more feedback than you might expect, and it genuinely helps us prioritize future releases.

Thank you for being part of the AINOTE community.

[How to] Use Tap-to-Speech to Quickly Locate the Timeline

Hey everyone 👋
Ever struggled to find the exact moment in a long meeting recording when you wrote something down? ✍️
Here’s a quick AINOTE feature that makes that way easier — Tap-to-Speech.
While you’re recording, you can keep writing notes like usual.

Each note gets automatically timestamped in the background, so your thoughts stay linked to the exact moment in the audio.
To turn it on:
Go to More → Tap-to-Speech → On (it’s off by default).

https://preview.redd.it/uuc0tf6k2kbh1.png?width=1376&format=png&auto=webp&s=b90678d96ce0282ef335f9014d502fabe6deacfe

Once enabled, you’ll notice something cool:
Your handwritten notes will show dotted lines, meaning they’re now clickable.
And here’s the magic:
Just tap any note, and it instantly jumps to the exact point in the recording when it was written
Tap different notes to quickly move through key moments in the meeting — no more scrubbing the timeline.

https://preview.redd.it/cvqt9q8u2kbh1.png?width=1305&format=png&auto=webp&s=445ce5239042d7775c187bf910a41d2c457d1f55

Super helpful for:
Reviewing meeting highlights
Jumping back to important ideas
Capturing thoughts without losing context

Hope this helps make your meeting notes a lot more powerful.

Which template do you use the most? (And what should we build next? )

Hey everyone 👋

I’ve been looking through our templates lately and got curious about how everyone builds their daily workflow. If you had to choose just ONE existing template that you keep coming back to without even thinking, which one would it be?

  • Meeting Notes
  • Reading Notes
  • To-do / Task List
  • Schedule
  • Or maybe you ignored all of these and built your own system?

But that’s not all! We want to expand our library, and we need your input.

If we were to add NEW templates, what type of layouts are you missing the most?

Drop your ideas in the comments below! Feel free to describe it or even post a picture/screenshot of a layout you love. Let’s see what we can bring to life next! 👀

[How to] Quickly Locate a Meeting Recording with Handwritten Notes?

Hey everyone 👋

Ever had a random idea pop up while recording a meeting? 💡

Here’s a quick little AINOTE tip that can help you capture those thoughts without losing track of the meeting.

While recording, you can use the Smart Pen to write your ideas directly in the note area at the bottom of the page ✍️

https://preview.redd.it/is19s1o6jr6h1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=f39fade40050e063a73ba1bacb070ad44af8cbdd

After turning this on, go back to your notes and tap any handwritten note. AINOTE will show and locate the exact recording moment when that note was written 🎧

So when you tap the handwritten note linked to the recording, it’ll take you right back to the moment when your idea came up.

https://preview.redd.it/uybdjmu9jr6h1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=7553e0bede661e13b3505722c0150b7737cb849d

Super useful for saving quick thoughts, meeting highlights, and those “wait, that’s important” moments ✨
