I built a boring tool that remind you before you got charged by accident

I used to jump from idea to build, ship without validating demand, and wonder why nothing stuck. No plan, no clear problem, no customer conversations — no surprise it failed.

Then one day I had a different kind of problem: I watch a lot of long-form YouTube — podcasts, talks, tutorials — and I often come away inspired but with nothing that actually sticks. I’d rewatch, jot things down, and still struggle to turn what I consumed into something I could reuse or remember.

That’s when the idea for Brainyze hit me. I built it for myself first: a tool to help move from passive watching to active thinking by transforming videos into usable knowledge you can return to. I’m the first user, and I built it because I needed it.
