Almost to the last milestone! Less than 300 days to go! As someone who isn't chronically online, it sometimes gets nerve-wracking to try to remember doing at least one interaction every day. I'm actually kinda proud of myself for sticking with it!

[partially lost] WGN-TV’s “Bozo: 40 Years of Fun!” (2001 Primetime Anniversary Special)

Bozo: 40 Years of Fun! was a 90-minute WGN-TV special marking the end of Chicago’s locally produced Bozo series after more than 40 years. It was taped on June 12, 2001, and aired on July 14, 2001.

The special featured Joey D’Auria as Bozo alongside members of the current and former cast, retrospective clips, and the Grand Prize Game. Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins also appeared and performed Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young.”

A one-minute clip of Corgan’s performance survives on YouTube:

I have searched YouTube, the Internet Archive, FuzzyMemories.tv, IMDb, and general web results, but have not found the complete special. I also could not find evidence of an official home-video release or complete streaming upload.

I am looking for anyone who may have recorded the July 14, 2001 broadcast on VHS, either from WGN-TV Channel 9 in Chicago or the national WGN superstation feed. A recording with the original commercials would also be valuable.
