Charlie Kirk Assassination 4K Footage [fully lost]

As you all should know, Charlie Kirk ALWAYS recorded his events and debates to post them to Youtube and Tiktok. This means that on September 10th 2025, the day he was shot, he also had a film crew recording the event with very high quality camera footage. ONLY ONE out of the 3 recordings of that day has been released (the camera right behind Charlie which Candace Owens has shown) but the other 2 (the one showing Charlie directly and the one showing the person he was debating) remains lost and will probably never be released.

What are some confirmed examples of gatekept lost media? [talk]

This is something that I’ve come across a few times now with some bigger examples. We all know Mess O Blues and Spider-Man vs Kraven the Hunter. The original directors keeping their projects to themselves or showing it off very selectively. I know for example, the arcade collector scene is a nightmare for never dumping roms.

But with the semi recent rediscovery of Doctor Who episodes, I wonder. What are some bigger examples of lost/rare/inaccessible media that we know are in the hands of private collectors? Are there just rumors or murmurs of lost silent films sitting on a single reel somewhere in the hands of someone who refuses to digitize it? What are some cases that we know for sure something exists?

(I’m not agreeing or disagreeing, I just saw in a video that one of the Golem movies from the 1910s/20s is rumored to be in a private collection)

[FULLY LOST] Found footage horror video about teenagers getting mauled by the Rake

Hi. Not sure if this is the right formatting for something like this, so I apologize in advance. Will edit and reupload if anything goes against the rules.

Around late 2016-2017 on Youtube, I watched what I presume is a lost found-footage horror flick that scared the shit out of me as a kid. I've done multiple searches in the years that have passed but I still haven't found it on the site, so I think it might've been taken down as part of a mass copyright strike. I'm absolutely sure this isn't something I hallucinated and it actually existed at some point because I found multiple people online talking about the same video I saw. Don't remember the viewcount or the title, I think it was something in all caps. Think the video I watched might've been a reuploaded version, since I heard it was floating around since 2013.

Here's how I remember it going:

Video starts with a group teenagers/young adults (around five to six of them, I think college age?) crammed in an elevator. One of them, a white male with brown hair and an orange hoodie is filming the ordeal with a video camera. I should note the video is also intersped with security camera footage, so we're also simultaneously seeing third-person view clips of these people whilst the guy is filming everything.

The doors open and they walk into an underground parking lot. While they're making their way to their car (a spacious white van), orange hoodie guy is talking about some freaky horror story or something along the lines of that. I don't remember most of it, a lot of it was just him rambling/joking while the other teenagers told him to stop messing around, though I distinctly remember him mentioning a part of the story where a girl(?) is thrown against a glass windshield and how you could hear her muffled screams.

Anyways, the group finally opens the van and they get inside. As they pull out of the parking space, orange hoodie guy pans the camera over to the back of the van. Points a flashlight. Inside there's a gory mess of blood and viscera and a pale naked guy crouched in the back eating the remains. Rake turns around, shrieks and jumps at the camera.

After this it's a bloodbath. In the security camera clips we can see the van stopping and shaking violently as the Rake mauls everyone in the van. Lots of screaming. Camera gets thrown around, I remember in the chaos it gets shoved into open wounds and a few close-up shots of gore before it falls in one of the front seats. There's a view of the front windshield whilst you hear agonal breathing and chewing in the background.

From this point on the camera cuts fully to security camera footage. We see the rake crawl out of the van along with the bodies as it begins eating the corpses. This goes on for a few minutes and then the video ends.

[fully lost] Betaal Pachisi (1997) based on Lee Falk's Phantom.

NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH "BETAAL PACHISI" A MYTHOLOGICAL SHOW INVOLVING A KING AND A TRICKSTER SPIRIT's RIDDLES

I am looking for any surviving footage, episodes, or clips of Betaal Pachisi, a live-action superhero series that aired on India's DD Metro network in 1997. The show starred actor Shahbaz Khan as a localized adaptation of the famous Lee Falk's comic book hero, The Phantom.

It had 49 episodes. It was originally telecast in 1997. King features Syndicate sued the makers for copying the phantom but lost the case which allowed the show to continue for 49 episodes. The show's rights were purchased in 2000 by UTV (as a result it re-aired in 2005) which was later acquired by Disney India in 2018. Since then it has remained lost. Nobody seems to have any episodes. A lot of phans (myself included,) have gone crazy looking for it.

I have personally contacted the director, Sunil Agnihotri, who confirmed his production house no longer holds the master tapes. Because Disney India later acquired UTV, the official digital assets are locked away in corporate legal storage due to the old copyright strikes. We are desperately searching for home-recorded VHS or VCR television rips from either the 1997 DD Metro broadcast or the 2005 Hungama TV daily rerun. Any leads or archives would mean the world to the preservation community.

Please help people🙏🏻 😭

[Partially lost] Hatsune Miku themed Virtual DJ skin.

I was looking NyaaTorrents searching for some old Vocaloid versions when I saw an entry titled "Virtual DJ Hatsune Miku Edition" no one was seeding it so I couldn't download it, its info hash is "6615cbae8731cf94415270dd2fac4efb5069d60e" which is most likely an MD1 hash but I could be wrong and the file name of the downloaded file is MikuDJ.rar with a size of 6.5 MiB. From my own research I concluded that no official Vocaloid/Crypton colab happened with Virtual DJ so I don't think this is an official skin for the app, it more likely being a user made one. Does anyone if it would theoretically be possible to try and find a copy of it, because I've been trying to create an archive of some of the more obscure vocaloid stuff with the hopes of preserving it and this is one of those files/programs that are hard to come by.

Note: Please exercise caution when downloading files/torrents, especially from obscure sites as they might contain malware.

Note #2: This is my first post here so if I made a mistake in the post structure please let me know.

[TOMT][YouTube] Niko & Dime’s Nikocado Avocado Videos

https://youtube.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000003317498 (this is the only mention I have found of his channel from 2022, showing only the thumbnail)

About a couple of years ago, somewhere between 2020-22 (maybe early 23?), I used to watch these videos about Nikocado Avocado from Niko & Dime on YouTube. They were compilations of sorts (each video probably being ten minutes long? and had random clips from Nik’s videos with some commentary text by Dime). It’s how I first found out about Nikocado and remember laughing hard at them because of how stupid they were. He had a good amount of videos up on his channel from what I can remember, can‘t say for specific. I assume all of Dime’s videos about Nikocado were wiped following the period of Nikocado’s purge on YouTube to take down any videos about him as I haven’t been able to find any of his past videos beside the two up on his channel as of now. Any help to help find these videos would be nice :)

[Found] After Searching For Over 20 Years I Found A Copy Of "The Fighting Flying Tigers" Audio Drama - Archived

Link up front

I am sharing a full digitized preservation of an obscure audio drama digitized from cassette tape, The Fighting Flying Tigers by Ferde Grofe Films.

This tape has been something I've been personally searching for since the mid 2000's. I originally had a duplicate my father made and a photocopy of the J-Card. I listened to this tape religiously. At some point I lost the tape, and started on a multi-decade long search for another copy.

I've searched archives, collectors, The Library of Congress, Reddit, radio drama forums, etc. For a long time this effectively existed as a memory.

Recently I found an original copy of the tape from USNews Video from their Air Combat Video Collection.

The Fighting Flying tigers is an audio drama from an unknown production date. It follows the WW2 fighter squadron by the same name who flew missions against the Japanese. Beyond me FINALLY finding a physical copy of the tape, there is little surviving public information. At one point I even tracked down Ferde Grofe Jr and we corresponded briefly but he stopped responding.

This recording does not appear to be cataloged in any major public archive or database, and I have not been able to find evidence of other surviving copies.

My goal here is to ensure it is preserved and accessible for historical and research purposes, especially for anyone studying obscure aviation media, cassette-era audio dramas, or independent distribution recordings.

[ARCHIVAL] Deleted Vocaloid/Denpa video by LOLI.COM

I am archiving a September 2021 backup of the original video and song "【無修正】本当に大事なのはイチモツだけ【LOLI.PED】" by the underground Vocaloid/Denpa producer LOLI.COM.

Since the original creator accounts and official channels were completely deleted years ago, I couldn't find any active mirrors or official re-uploads available online. I am not entirely sure if this content is fully considered lost media by the community, or if there is a hidden archive somewhere that I missed, but I wanted to share it just in case.

I have uploaded the raw 14.8 MB MP4 file directly to the Internet Archive for preservation.

Archive.org link

Please let me know if this video is already available elsewhere or if it is indeed a new recovery for the community. Thank you for your help.

2 unfinished animated films from Hanna Barbera and Disney have been unearthed [Partially Lost]

About a month ago a friend of mine showed me a few eBay lots of concept art for two animated features that never got fininshed. One lot was for Frankenstein, being developed at Disney, and the two other lots were for October Moon, being devleoped at Hanna Barbera/Turner Animation. Both of these were being directed by Glenn Chaika, who's only theatrical credit is for Thru the Moebius Strip, an extremely obscure animated feature that was released worldwide except for the United States.

After some thinking and messaging the seller, we made a deal and I bought the whole kabootle for a bargain (like $300 off the asking price!). There's roughly 120 pieces of art here, 2 VHS tapes, 2 U-Matic tapes, a 35mm reel, three scripts, various notes and 1 CD of art (which I still have yet to receive from the seller....) I am already in touch with the two people I will be having process the U-Matic tape and film, I just have to make arrangements to ship these things and have them processed.

[Fully Lost] My Search for a Ghost Images Compilation, Confirmed to Exist

Around 2007–2009, when I was a kid in late primary school (roughly equivalent to early middle school), my friends and I were obsessed with ghosts. We called our friend group the "ghost club," and we'd spend school breaks/lunch periods watching ghost videos and screamers on the school laptops. YouTube was blocked at school, but Dailymotion and Google Video weren't, so that's what we used.

One video in particular has stuck with me for over a decade. I first posted about this on r/tipofmytongue, then crossposted to r/ghostvideos, and I've since done a lot of digging trying to trace it. Those posts didn't contain all the details but, that digging led me to a documented, confirmed-deleted YouTube video that I believe is either the source of, or directly related to, what I originally watched, which is the actual subject of this post. I'm laying out the full search below.

The confirmed lost video: "ghosts Paranormal video" by shudog420

This is the well-documented part of my search, not something I'm asking anyone to take on faith:

  • Title: "ghosts Paranormal video"
  • Uploader: shudog420 (Channel ID: UC9bJX-B34bhvjrCF4wKv6bQ, known alias youtube.com/@shudog420)
  • Original video ID: 2U3xfbZhPo0
  • Uploaded: January 17, 2006
  • Confirmed via Wayback Machine capture of the YouTube watch page, which recorded: 752,394 views, 698 comments, favourited 1,063 times, category "Music" (certainly mislabeled), tag "ghosts"
  • Currently: Deleted from YouTube (confirmed unavailable as of today)

I checked findyoutubevideo.thetechrobo.ca for this video ID as recommended in this sub's sticky post. No archived copy of the actual video file has turned up there, only the metadata trail below.

Selected comments preserved in the archived page, for context on the content:

>"Alot of doctored pic's in that bunch..." — scottrevss "Pics went far too quickly to get a decent look which is a shame. Some are well known ghost pics, some look like they could be doctored - 9/11 ones especially." — littlejacksbitch "That was hella scary..." — LetTheTruthBeSpoken

Significance

This wasn't some obscure video. the fact that its exact video ID (2U3xfbZhPo0) shows up independently posted across at least four unrelated forums in four different countries between 2006 and 2008 tells me it was a genuinely viral piece of ghost-photo content in exactly this era, not a niche upload nobody saw (some of these need to be posted into the internet archive because they're dead now):

I want to find any surviving copy of this video, or confirm whether it (or something extremely close to it) is what I remember watching as a kid. though this upload has been deleted and may not be easy to be find, it certainly isn't the original upload, and it's possible that the same compliation exists elsewhere. if not the original copy, then a reupload by a different user, or an earlier version than the Shudog upload.

The research trail

1. "Ghost Picture Slideshow" was embedded on True Ghost Tales (trueghosttales.com)

I found a page on trueghosttales.com titled "Ghost Picture Slideshow," self-described as "a slideshow of some of the most well known ghost and paranormal pictures." The site's content is copyrighted 2007–2012.

2. The page source revealed the embedded YouTube video ID

Viewing the raw HTML of the 2008 Wayback capture revealed the original embed code, which is what led me to the video above:

<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2U3xfbZhPo0"></param>

3. shudog420's other uploads, and why they're probably not the original creator

I found two different archived snapshots of his channel/profile, from what appear to be two different points in time, with slightly different stats:

Via Archivarix Tube Search (tube.archivarix.net):

  • 74 subscribers, joined Jan 1, 2006
  • 5 videos total listed, all currently flagged "Live": "My Lil [N-word use removed by me]," "Bumbles Bounce," "Taco Fight," "Lets get it onnn..," and "Ghost on tape" (video ID Xs0hs2ugXxg)
  • Notably, "ghosts Paranormal video" itself does not appear in this index, possibly a gap in their crawl data, or possibly evidence the video was removed earlier or more thoroughly than his other uploads

Via an archived old-style YouTube profile page:

  • 8 videos are listed here (more than the Archivarix index shows): "nucalr" (1,048 views), "fat girl cant ride" (3,063 views), "lil punk" (268 views) [based on the thumbnail, this is the same video as the one containing the N-word, but renamed], "ghost crossing" (47,441 views. a THIRD ghost-related upload I hadn't found before), "taco fight" (4,938 views), "aww this is gonna be so good, i cant wait..." (646 views), "Ghost on tape" (7,850 views), and "ghosts Paranormal video" itself

Given the rest of his upload history is unrelated content, my read is that shudog420 was just one of many people re-hosting an already-circulating video rather than its original creator, which lines up with the same video ID showing up organically across unrelated forums in different countries around the same time. His other ghost-titled uploads ("Ghost on tape," "ghost crossing" with 47K views is nothing to sneeze at) may be worth someone else's look too, though they're outside the scope of what I originally remember.

The personal memory that started this (unconfirmed beyond my own recollection)

This part I can't back up with external documentation, I'm including it transparently as the actual origin of my search, not as something I expect anyone to verify exists independently:

I specifically remember a Dailymotion video (title something like "Ghost Pictures Gallery" or "Ghost Images Gallery") that used red slideshow text on black, scored to Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield (the section used in The Exorcist), showing well-known ghost photos: the Brown Lady of Raynham Hall, the Amityville "ghost boy," and the Chinnery "Backseat Driver" photo among other famous ghost images that anybody who is enthusiastic about this kind f thing would definitely recognize.

The part I remember most vividly is the opening: a sequence of 3 or 4 night-vision images of someone sleeping in a hospital bed. An orb moves into frame from the right, becomes a humanoid figure looking down at the sleeper, then exits left. This gave me actual nightmares as a kid.

I've since confirmed these specific hospital bed images are a real, independently circulating set sometimes called the "Sleep Study Ghost". they show up completely divorced from my video, in a 2014 slideshow by YouTube channel ParanormalAsso, and in a Ranker listicle:

This confirms I'm not misremembering source material that never existed, but I have not found the specific Dailymotion edit that used them as a cold open, and I'm not asking anyone to treat that specific edit as "proven" to exist. I'm hoping someone here recognizes it regardless, possibly as another reupload of the shudog420-adjacent video above.

What I'm still looking for

  1. Any surviving copy of shudog420's "ghosts Paranormal video" (ID 2U3xfbZhPo0)
  2. Any earlier "original" source for this content than shudog420's Jan 2006 upload, since i strongly believe he wasn't the original creator, and was just reuploading an already circulating video
  3. If possible, the specific Dailymotion/Google Video mirror I remember watching around 2008, with the red-text/Tubular Bells styling and the hospital-bed orb sequence as its cold open. though since this specific part is memory based and not evidence based, it's outside the scope of this subreddit.
  4. Anyone else who independently remembers this specific compilation or the hospital-bed sequence from a video of their own.

If anyone has an old download sitting around, recognizes the uploader, or even just remembers the "Sleep Study Ghost" opening from a similar video, I'd love to hear from you.

TL;DR: Tracing a confirmed-deleted, well-documented 2006 YouTube video ("ghosts Paranormal video" by shudog420, 750K+ views, independently linked across Spanish/Czech/Arabic/UK forums 2006–2008) that I believe is the source of, or closely related to, a Dailymotion ghost-photo slideshow I watched around 2008 (red text, Tubular Bells soundtrack, opening with a "Sleep Study Ghost" orb-to-figure sequence over a hospital bed). Looking for any surviving copy of either.

[Talk] [Partially Found] Jessie.com

Follow-up to the original Jessie.com post.

Jessie.com was a inbetweener show that aired on a TVNZ2 (a New Zealand TV station) in the early 2000s. On Whitebait Media's website (the production company behind jessie.com), it says it was sold to Disney. It was later aired in Australia and allegedly some parts of Asia through Disney. This show had basically 0 documentation before we started digging up information that was nearly lost to time. Most Notably: http://diary.jessie.com, a companion website built for the show during airing, now only available on the Wayback Machine. Since our post about it a year ago, we did actually recover a episodes that we have decided to upload on the Internet Archive.

We do not consider this show found as there are still several missing (and potentially undocumented?) episodes from the show. From what we could find, there are 2 parts of the show which we have divided into "seasons." Season 2 appears to be entirely undocumented where the only proof of it existing is the diary website, the episodes themselves, and the previously only known footage of the show which came from Actor Nic Farra's portfolio.

The distinction between season 1 and season 2 seems to be the diary's journal color. Season 1 has a black background where season 2 has a pink background. Our archive has 5 episodes from season 2, and 1 episode from season 1, meaning season 1 is basically completely lost.

If you wish to know more, you can visit the previous post which has loads of information, or my friend's website where the show is documented much better.

[found] ASC-DCI StEM (2004)

Full Film

On July 2005, YouTube user rstjean uploaded a 5 second 1080p snippet of "ASC-DCI StEM" and titled it "gg". The video would get unnoticed until the late 2010s where viewers were shocked on the quality of the clip. In 2021, Timeworks made a video discussing about the clip.

The film appeared to be actually a 12-minute short film by DCI and ASC that had been released confidentially for commercial testing/educational purposes only, meaning any non-commercial use were legally impossible.

Unfortunately, the 2004 short film turned out to be outdated when the owners made another StEM movie in 2022. Luckily, the short film was recently found at an obscure BilliBilli mirror (with commentary from the creators). Because of this, the search has now come to a happy end.

[talk] WordGirl lost media (no, not the pitch pilot from 2004-2005)

A couple of years ago, I learned that the animated series WordGirl is technically a spinoff of Maya And Miguel, as it started off as a mini series of short episodes that were part of the Maya and Miguel episodes and the series was called *The Amazing Colossal Adventures of WordGirl!*

I have been trying to find anything about the original miniseries, as someone who used to watch both Maya and Miguel and WordGirl on PBS Kids (I was born in 2004, so I never saw the original WordGirl shorts), but I keep coming up empty handed. The only thing from the original WordGirl miniseries is what was possibly its logo/title page, including a picture of it with the old "www.pbskidsgo.org" website link underneath it.

I was just wondering if anybody knows something more about the original WordGirl shorts. Thank you.

What's the current status of The Crow: City of Angels 160 minutes cut? [unreleased media]

So I wonder if there are any new leads about mythical The Crow: City of Angels pre-reshoots workprint which was supposedly 160 minutes long and much better than the final film, before Weinstein brothers gutted the movie for whatever reason.

I don't know how accurate the whole "it was shown on pay-per-view channels back in the 90s" rumor is or that some hardcore collectors have a tape, but I'm curious if the tape was actually found somewhere.

Oddly enough, the ending from that cut was featured in the tie-in game:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uwsk08Kabvg

It would be a shame if the movie is just lost in time like Welles' The Magnificent Ambersons cut.

ANIMALS — Shot on Video horror starring Linnea Quigley [partially lost]

I am trying to locate a VHS copy of Animals, directed by Bob Cook and starring Linnea Quigley. This is a late-1990s shot-on-video, shot in Central Florida, horror/thriller about the Evans family vacation turning into a nightmare after a gang raids their trailer/campsite. The end result was one of the worst films ever created; its most notable aspect is its star and extreme obscurity.

The VHS definitely exists, and with at least two different covers. I was the Key Grip on the film and Bob Cook personally gave me a copy around 1998 or 1999, but I loaned it to a friend years ago and it was never returned. I am trying to locate either a retail VHS, screener, promo copy, distributor copy, or any verifiable physical release. I am not looking for piracy links or burned DVDs.

Useful identifiers:

Title: Animals

Director: Bob Cook

Star: Linnea Quigley

Approx. release/circulation: 1998–1999

If anyone has a copy, has seen one in a collection, knows the distributor history, or can point me toward a collector who may know more, I would greatly appreciate it.

Looking for "The British Animation Invasion" 1991 film [partially lost]

This is my first post here, forgive me if I muck something up.

I used to rent this on VHS all the time back in the day, but I can't find a digital copy anywhere online.

There are a few articles about it, images of the VHS cover and poster, and some actual VHS copies for sale.

I remember it had this Animation called "Jollity Farm" (1988 by David Stone) which can be viewed here on YouTube: https://youtu.be/AtJeLSywD58

If anyone knows if it's been archived online, I'd love to see it again. If not, well at the end of the day I guess I do have a working VHS player..

[talk] Clockman has caused me serious problems.

I’m not 100% if this is the right place for this if it is just delete this mods if not i have nowhere else to share this. For anyone who doesn’t know i’m referring to the Czech pinwheel cartoon.

I have and for all my life had a severe phobia of cheaply made old cartoons it’s just always really creeped me out, yet i’m still really into lost media it’s always interested me. I’ve watched hundreds of hours of lost media content and videos most of them usually blur into one except for the big ones such as ekt or like the wind, but one always stuck with me and has caused me major problems, Clockman. I watched a short documentary on the short and it feels like it’s been haunting me (not in a creepypasta slop way) walking around my house at night genuinely feels terrifying his face is just stuck in my mind at all times.

I originally watched the video around a year ago and when I first watched it it definitely shook me up a little but i eventually sorta grew out of my love for lost media when ekt was found which was my favourite lost media but i recently started getting back into it and was watching a lot of lost media content and this video came back and i thought i’d watch it remembering how it creeped me out the first time. No joke since i watched that video i’ve not slept properly in days and i’ve been waking up in states of what seems like sleep paralysis.

What is going on with me I don’t know. I thought i’d share this here in case anyone would find my situation funny or strange and i don’t know what other community would understand this 😭

[fully lost] Youtube video "Annabelle Wallis : The Bold Interview" for Cartier

It is a Youtube video from the Cartier channel. It's less than 2 minutes long, black and white. It features actress Annabelle Wallis, which was Cartier ambassador at the time, answering questions about boldness in the format of "Bold Quiz". The same format hosted Jake Gyllenhaal, whose video I was able to retrieve.

Jake actually has two videos: one in black and white, same format as Annabelle, and another one in color, still about boldness but different format, because it was shorter and without the "Bold Quiz".

I came across some GIFs from it on Tumblr. I was able to find these two links, but it says the Youtube video is now private. Since it's a public advertisement and not personal content, I think it's ethical to look for it because I am not hurting either the testimonial or the corporation.
