A 420-centric run club/org based in Chicago is hosting a walk, run and ride experience in Orland Hills at The Stash Room (one of the largest consumption lounges in IL) on Saturday, 8/22.

We were trying to reach Wiz Khalifa after he recently shared that he’s getting into the running community.

We weren’t able to get Wiz himself to come out, but we did connect with his team and now Khalifa Kush/Flora is sponsoring flower for the event!

That means attendees will receive KK pre-rolls courtesy of Wiz Khalifa and his brand.

Curious — would anyone on here be interested in more events like this? Cannabis + wellness + movement???

Runners High Chicago was established in June 2022 as a 420-centric run community. We meet every Saturday at 9 AM and explore different neighborhoods and routes throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.

Over the past few years, our community has grown through weekly runs, events, conversations, and community-building around running, wellness, and cannabis culture. We’ve been fortunate to be featured in the Chicago Tribune, South Side Weekly, High Times, and Women’s Health Magazine.

We’ve also hosted conversations around cannabis and wellness, including a panel with former NFL player Ricky Williams, where he shared his journey and relationship with cannabis.

Outside of our weekly runs, we set up cheer zones at major races, including the Chicago Marathon and Half Marathon, to support and encourage our runners along the course.
