Whatsapp daily backup issue
I normally have my Whatsapp chats backup every single night. Yet in the last week I received this message twice. I still receive messages but when I want to open the app I get this screen saying "Recover your old chats for all your messages before day xy". The problem is once I did that last time my chats throughtout the last day were gone since it went back to a backup from in the morning not in the evening. And for some reason the backup file is displayed at 5.7 GB (which cant the size of only the chats from yesterday) which makes me scared that if I dont do it I will somehow lose all my chats even though I back them up daily.
I'm really bothered by this problem because it only appeared recently and I'm even more mad because what use are these daily backups if I can still loose chats?!
Has anyone encountered the same problem and can help me solve it?
