Double Decker Shuttle!

I was the only person on a double decker shuttle bus from Medical Center to Friendship Heights this morning. Great view!

Crazy Box at The National

My son just opened a Topps UEFA National exclusive box at the show and pulled these gems. Not bad for a $200 box.

Red Line Shuttle-Progress Report

I usually take the metro from Medical Center to Dupont, so increased this summer’s construction.
I figured that there would be no enforcement of the bus lanes, and few shuttles, since I use the metro outside of peak hours ( I work an 11-7 shift).
So the bad: As I expected, enforcement of the bus lanes have been nonexistent, and we pass tons of cars/delivery trucks parked in it every day, and the shuttles spend more time out of the bus lane than in it.
The good: I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes for a shuttle either in the morning of night. The shuttle workers have been friendly and helpful.
So all in all, I’d say things are a little better than expected, but I’d love to see more enforcement.

Red Line Shuttles

While it’s still frustrating that there’s no enforcement of the bus lanes, I have to give WMATA credit for having A LOT of shuttle busses. There have been multiple busses lined up at Medical Center both times I’ve gone in the morning, and all in all, my commute from Medical Center to Dupont is only taking about 10-15 minutes longer than usual, which is better than I expected.

No enforcement of bus lanes

Riding the Metro train shuttle from Medical Center to Friendship Heights, and there’s no enforcement of the bus lanes going on.
None.
Multiple stoped delivery trucks. Multiple people parked to grab coffee. Tons of cars driving in it.
Don’t see one parking enforcement car.
This is gonna be such a failure.
