Heya, first time playing but have played Dark Souls, so ik how important it is to just focus on one stat to get the most out of spells/weapons

I’m doing Faith, but I’m just wondering if I should put anything into Dex/Str too just in case? I prefer putting all my levels into HP, Mind and Faith so I can hold my own with spells, but I also like having weapons that do slash/strike/thrust for mobs immune to magic

I’m hoping this title has some kind of infusion like in DS3 where u can make ur weapon do lots of base damage or scale with faith. Probably should go look now lol but yeah was wondering if any1 had any opinions they’d like to share. Thx

Eileen mentions that there r no humans left, and while the beast plague is clearly widespread, what’s the explanation for Arianna, Gascoigne’s family, and the Old Lady etc. still doing in Yharnam?

I’m assuming it’s a situation where there’s no way out of Yharnam via long-distance travel, and so the only safe place is at home with the entrances barricades.

I also wonder how exactly the Healing Church is still able to function, bringing new patients into the city to join the hunt, when the streets appear to be so chaotic. Maybe when the hunt’s over they spend all day clearing up the streets b4 nightfall returns?

I’m currently writing Dark Souls fanfics and when it comes to world-building about astronomy, I just have sm questions…
The Sun, stars and the moon exist ofc, but r stars still faraway suns, or r they entirely different? Like some kind of pretty canvas in the sky?
Does the world take place on a planet, or is it also something entirely different?
