So i saw an article about how the CMP is selling over 100k M14's altered to remove the automatic fire option. i was looking into getting one and then i remembered our lovely firearm restrictions in this state. Now I know that the M14 isn't named outright in the ban and though is similar the Springfield M1A, i feel it wouldn't count since from my understanding, the early M14 was made by an entirely different Springfield Armory. but i would like other's opinion on the matter.

I bit the bullet (no pun intended) recent to applied and got accepted at the Sonoran Desert Institute and they're asking for an FFL to have things transferred to. Now I've mostly been using either the Cabela's in Tulalip or Ballard's Supply co in Seattle, but i would like something that's a bit closer and open in the mornings to pick up whatever they send me (i work the mid shift). With that, i was wondering who would be the best to go with in the north-of-Seattle area since there are a lot of options available.

Recently my girlfriend had a situation at home where we agreed it's best she stay with me for the time being. So bringing her cat makes things easier. I know not to immediately put them all together, we don't want a bloody war starting in my living room and my one cat, Beerus, started hissing and swatting at gf going to the room where her cat stays. So what can I do to make sure their introduction goes smoothly, if there is something I can do?
