My Motorola Razr 60 Survival Story
A few days ago, I was on a trip staying in a dormitory. I had booked an upper bunk, which was about six feet high. My bag and my phone were both on the bed, and the phone was folded.
While I was standing on the ground, I reached up and tried to pull my bag down, not realizing my phone was tucked right next to it. It came sliding out along with the bag and—BAM! My phone hit the ground. I honestly thought that was it. I figured there was no way a fragile flip phone was going to survive a drop like that.
I was too nervous to check it immediately, so I didn't even open it for fifteen minutes. When I finally worked up the courage to slowly flip it open, I found that there wasn't even a single scratch. Everything was working perfectly.
For those wondering, I have the Motorola Razr 60. It still has the factory installed screen protector and was inside the case that came in the box.
There are so many complaints about foldable phones breaking or failing after a drop, but people rarely post when their phone actually survives. I wanted to share this to give credit where it’s due!
