Hi guys,

I just bought a brand new Thinkpad P14s Gen 5 AMD. Everything seems to be working fine but I'm getting this tiny scratching/grinding noise whenever the fan spins up (or so I believe). Please listen to the RECORDING.

I made the recording just by refreshing a reddit thread so it's very easy to trigger the noise and it happens quite often - as soon as the laptop goes from "idling" to doing the smallest bit of work. After the initial spin up the fan is quiet and not intrusive at all.

Is this to be expected? Do you guys notice the same noise on your machines? Just figured I'd check as I literally just got this laptop so I can still return/exchange it if this is not to be expected.
