Game should decentivize stall/uninteractive play
I just played Kagamine Lee (EUWest) a fleet 200points (1150 Lox) above me. (And yes I dont mind dragging his player tag into the court of public opinion, mine is Dranakar for good measure)
After losing first game and me getting advantage in second, he chose to first SD twice, then pick fire capital and proceeded get 20% advantage and then to stall out the game for 8 min.
Firstly I'm salty cause 95% of people I meet are cool decent players and I can have a good time but now I wasted 20 min of my precious time off fighting this trash human being and 10 min writing this post which sours my other play experience.
But secondly and more importantly, it seems like this should be addressed at a systems level.
It seems to me that time stalling in ranked ladder should provide a loss for both players or a no-benefit for both. No incentive to stall for time. Any other suggestions on how to decentivize this awful behaviour?
I'm guessing this is less of a problem the higher level you get, but I thought I was out of the weeds getting to Plat. And I know I should get better at pressure, but genuinely I feel this is a game systems problem.
