Which SSD for boot drive?
So I've got a WD Black SN 750 SE (1tb) and a MSI Spatium M750 Pro (2tb).
The WD SSD although PCIe gen 4, is essentially equivalent to a high end Gen 3 in terms of read/write speeds. It uses HMB and I was planning to have the OS on there and use it for my boot drive. I was going to use the MSI SSD for work, as I need to frequently transfer large files.
Now after some conflicting posts I'm unsure if this is the right choice. Will using a lower speed SSD for the OS really have any noticeable difference. Or do I need a good gen 4 SSD for a boot drive?
Thanks
