Gate Warden in 11th
Obviously this is speculation, we won't know 100% until the new edition drops.
When they revealed that objective markers are being replaced, I think that most of us reasonably expected Gate Warden would have to change how it works. After all, with no objective markers we can't draw a defensive line.
My theory was that they would make it so we place 2x 40mm markers on different objective terrain footprints to draw a line between. So it's basically how it is now but with a little bit more control over the angle.
But in the Q&A video yesterday they said that the Votann army rule works exactly the same way because the footprint *is* the objective marker.
If that ends up applying to anything that interracts with objective markers then our defensive line is about to be *THICK* thanks to the size of those footprints.
