CUE dropping me from 95% to 94%.

Had another C&P exam for my shin splints a couple of weeks ago and got the notification today that there was a CUE and they are no longer considering it service connected. While normally I would just say "eh, whatever it's 10%", this actually drops me from 100% to 90%.

I know I have 30 days for an appeal and 60 to submit more evidence however, I want to make sure I do this right. I was able to file all my claims alone without the help of a VSO or lawyer but in this situation I feel like I should use one of them.

Would it be more wise to utilize a VSO or go ahead and attempt to hire an attorney to help me with this?

Thanks all!

I know posts like this have been made before but every case is different? (lol)

In February of this year, I received a 100% P&T rating. Today, I received an email claiming that I would be contacted for another C&P exam. I contacted the VA and they informed me that there was an error found in two of my items claimed and I believe she mentioned that they have the "duty to assist" these items. I asked how often this results in losing rating for the specific claims and she said that it is more of a clarification vice an exam. I also asked if this was more of a clerical issue and she said it was.

Has anyone else ran into this recently? I double checked all of my claim letters to see if anything was deferred (they were not) and I double checked the API to see which of my conditions were static (all of them were).

I have massive anxiety and now I'm convinced that I will lose my 100% rating based off these two items.

I appreciate any information!
