I have four English credits but not four years of English classes. Will this affect colleges accepting me?
This is my first Reddit post so please bear with me if i've done this wrong. First of all i'm a high school student going into senior year. I have four years of English credits and can graduate high school with no issue. However I was looking at my dream university's website recently (Oregon State University) and the website says four years of English classes. I took English 9 & 10 at St. Mary's Academy and took Writing 121 & 122 (a college class) at my new high school. The college classes are legit (with a college my small school partnered with) and are the reason I have four high school credits ahead of time. However i'm unsure how much this type of thing will effect college admissions. I wanted to ask for help before I start my senior year and cant add a English class in my schedule (i'm taking two science classes instead since thats the field I would like to join). Any advice is greatly appreciated and thank you ahead of time. :)
