im planning to either retake the SAT in september or november or just switch to the ACT
if i plan to retake the sat, do you think i should focus on either rw or math to try and raise the 1350 to a 1400+? im open to focusing on either rw or math but both of them might also work as an option for me. im honestly just not sure what sort of study strategy to go about it effectively though as ive just used oneprep, youtube videos, and those sat pdf books for my pasting study. however, my past studying wasn't really consistent as i did it like randomly throughout the weeks.
i just want either binghamton university or stony brook university which are both within SUNY (new york)
stony brook states SAT Reading/Math Composite: 1340-1480 while binghamton states SAT score (mid-50%)* 1300-1450 | but i think binghamton is more competitive than stony brook so im not sure
im also thinking of suny buffalo or suny albany but id like to increase my admission chances into binghamton university or stony brook university if possible (new york state schools)
im thinking of trying one last time in september or november or taking the act instead since i might be able to get ACT waivers as im out of SAT waivers
im also open to attending private universities or any other colleges people would suggest within new york (maybe out of states near new york as well) as financial costs are my biggest priority (idk anything about looking for scholarships yet ngl)
or should i just move on from sat in general
