I have many issues with WVDP and their support for genocidal apartheid states, anti-homeless rhetoric and support for HB2014 (looking at you Garcia). But this is election time and you want to tone police constituents speaking out against Tom Bloom and County Commission for them selling Mon County out to flock?

Let's just ignore the misogyny, slander and systemically oppressive nature of County Commission, eh, Hansen? A disgrace.

Here to stay? Day after day courts are finding these surveillance systems unconstitutional and cities are removing them. What is this ignorant take? I thought Evan was a scientist who looks at all the facts and makes intelligent decisions.

Do not fall for this "Blue Wave" nonsense, it will leave you complacent. Do not ignore and accept these oppressive measures because the package has a nicer ribbon on it.

To posture as a progressive and get left flanked by the right on the most bipartisan issue in decades is embarrassing.

Let's also ignore the fact that a Morgantown City Council member Jodi Hollingshead, incoming Democrat candidate Julie Knight and the third party Mountain Party candidate Paige Reiring (running against Hansen) have all came out to support and fight for their constituents while Hansen and Williams are silently complacent and have not spoken a word to their fellow Mon Dems Forbes and Bloom about Flock. They will always be powerless when silent.

An embarassing interview. Commission and the Sheriff's department have seemingly dropped the facade of decorum and now are just continuing the meta of slandering and talking down to constituents.

This in addition to yesterday's commission meeting where now they won't even respond or talk to constituents about their questions or comments. This includes concerns over missing funding for EMS.

Do they thinking ignoring public concerns will make it go away?

Forbes says we are "within the law" ignoring the fact that this is a rapid new issue that the "law" hasn't caught up to and in many cases have ruled against ALPRs in other states.

This is the second time Bloom/Arnett have intentionally misconstrued a meme as anti-semitic as a distraction from the question of Flock surveillance and misappropriation of the opioid settlement funds.

The third time they have publicly attacked a woman in politics who was not there to defend themselves. This does not include the many women they harass during public meetings with tone policing, demanding their full addresses or physically removing them from the room.

Commission has also publicly called on the Sheriff's department to "monitor the situation". As reported in a previous article.

This is abhorrent and dangerous misconduct by County Commission.

I've been picking my brain about it and while I see that WV Democrats claim to be progressive they vote against reform and with Republicans a majority of the time.

They are silent on systemic violence affecting homeless, minority and lgbtqia+ groups and instead run on "we are small beans and we are sligbtly less violent than Republicans".

Fetty and Parsi who are up and coming both have centrist platforms. Platforms that look like they were written by a 16 year old who has a cursory understanding of politics.

I was disgusted to learn that Pushkin and other dems are cozy with AIPAC Urecki and voted for SCR17 (2024) and HB2933.

The democratic statement released against Trump about Iran left a sour taste as they don't actually seem to condemn the US-Israeli bombing of Iran and Lebanon but instead are mad that Iran is get money for repairs and reparations from the aggressors. They even went as far as to not explicitly but stated nonetheless their support for "allies in the area" I wonder who that is?

Is there no true left flank candidates in the state besides minimal attempts with Mountain Party?
