What Order to Get Content

Pretty much decided to get the game and I imagine I will end up with all of it over the next year or two. My question is what order to buy the different elements?

Particularly what do I want to have from the very beginning and what can be used later (I can't afford to just buy it all now).

Also, if you sleeve are these cards standard size (I play Marvel Champions, I have sleeves that size)?

Arkham or LotR

I have a complete collection of MC. I have been growing curious about Arkham and LotR LCGs (that's how they get you). I really don't want to ended up trying to collect an entire other game but could buy a core and some expansions. Considering everything (gameplay, availability, need for lots of product, future, etc) what are your thoughts? Arkham, LotR, or avoid the risk of another addiction entirely? How would you approach each in a limited way?

A student told me Bob was playing here in my hometown of Austin. I looked and thought the prices were reasonable. I mentioned it to my wife and she asked if we were going. I said I have seen him twice and we don't need to spend the money. She pointed out SHE had never seen him. My 19 year old daughter then said she didnt care how old he is or how he sounds or what he plays she really wants to see Bob once. Then my older daughter agreed. So now I have four 5th row seats to see Bob (and Lucinda Williams!!!)

I am finishing up year 24 in AISD. I hit my Rule of 80 next year. I also teach at ACC and Texas State. Teaching college is my (semi-)retirement plan. When I had my meeting with TRS I learned about the limit on hours I can work in TRS/ERS jobs in retirement. As many of you know, I am sure, if I can go a year without earning any income from a TRS/ERS job, that limit goes away. I suppose I am just looking for ideas on how to do that, short of fleeing the state for a year. What has worked for others? I am also a bit confused on what counts and what doesn't as I am now hearing any organization that contracts with an ISD counts as a TRS job. Thoughts?
