Oil in spark plugs, white smoke coming out exhaust, misfiring, car burning oil golf mk6 GTI
I had a misfire in cylinder 4 about 2 weeks ago (3 weeks after installing a VAGPARTS stage 1 tune) so I replaced the spark plugs and then the car was running fine again. I retuned the car back to stock ecu, but then a week later, I had a misfire in cylinder 3, checked the spark plugs and the bottoms were covered in oil. Cleaned them up with some degreaser and the car is running fine again, but clearly there is some sort of issue so I haven’t been driving it. I have also burnt a litre of oil in the last 4 weeks and upon cold start I have white smoke come out of the exhaust, as well as a little oil.
I am thinking it might be oil rings or possibly but I’m not very good with cars so just looking for a better idea of what it might be. I’ve also just put a video of the engine bay, not sure if that will help at all.
Any help is highly appreciated, I am not a mechanic so please don’t make fun of me for any language I’ve used
