We're going on the 7-day Alaskan cruise from Seattle on June 8!

One of the excursions we booked thru RC leaves at 9:45am, but we noticed that the gangway doesn't open until 10am. I spoke to RC and they told me we should notify guest services once we get on board. It seems strange that an excursion booked thru the cruise line would leave before passengers can get off the boat, so I'm assuming this won't be a problem but I figured I'd ask Reddit. Do we need to push for a better answer or a refund before we sail?
