I am applying for a Scotia STEP and asked the bank rep. to increase the prepayment amount to 20%.from the usual 15%.

She said that can only be done if the rate is slightly higher and is adamant it's not possible at the regular quoted rate.

I've seen people here saying they got 20% prepayment options with no change in rates. How can I get this?

Is it possible to transfer an insured mortgage and apply for a HELOC after a while? Does the insured rate remain the same?

How do people use Tello abroad to receive texts? Do I need to have Pay as you go credit for that?
