Instinct 2X to Coros Pace 4
Currently own a Garmin Instinct 2X (purchased it from my time in the army but now, I and am back to studying and interning) and am contemplating changing to the Coros Pace 4. Have been sitting on this decision for a while and still have yet to make up my mind. Right now I’ve weighed out these pros and cons for the 2 watches:
- Coros seems to do a better job at updating their old watches whereas the older Garmin models tend to be abandoned once newer models come out
- Instinct 2X has a flashlight (although I would say personally, I don’t use it as much)
- Instinct 2X is heavier and bulky, and when I wear it to sleep, sometimes I’ll just subconsciously take it off, messing with up my sleep tracking data
- Pace 4 is less rugged looking and would look better in day-to-day outfits and for office wear
I understand that Coros also doesn’t have Garmin Pay and Spotify but these 2 caveats don’t matter to me as I usually have my phone with me anyways.
Would just like to hear opinions from the people here and whether anyone has done this switch :)
