If you like watching your opponent misplay, use Meowscarada EX

Seriously, it feels like a lot of opponents have no idea how to play around Flower Trick. I just finished a pretty breezy climb to MB where quite a few of the games were won largely because they don’t understand how the attack works.

I had several games where the opponent didn’t realise that Flower Trick would hit **even if the Meowscarada is KO’d that turn**. This resulted in turns where they either switched in (or kept in) their main attacker to kill a weakened Meow, took the 70 at the end of their turn anyway, then died to the second Meow or the Oger waiting in the wings.

As an added bonus, the delayed nature of Flower Trick means the opponent almost never gets the opportunity to heal between your attacks, and it gets around Metal Core Barrier (I faced one lone Mega Scizor in my climb) since the Barrier expires BEFORE Flower Trick does its’ damage.

All this to say, try this deck out if you’re getting bored of your games playing out the same way each turn and want to make your opponents sit up and THINK for the first time.

With every main attacker in the AI deck being a basic Pokemon, Carracosta’s effect makes it virtually unkillable in the current event.

If you’re getting bored of auto-farming with Venusaur builds, give this a try!
