DUDUNSPARCE IS COMING

Finally a useable card. Dunsparce has two decent cards to evolve from and i honestly see a synergy with Celebi.

Mega Sceptile Ex B3 Season - Top 75

Today I used Mega Sceptile ex and gained roughly 300 points, pushing up to Top 75. I opted for the slower version of the deck that utilizes Quick Grow Extract instead of the turbo Rare Candy variant.

The biggest advantage of this build is the unmatched late game it provides. Mega Sceptile ex has incredible flexibility, being able to either deal 130 damage upfront effectively becoming 140 after poison ticks or switch gears and snipe the bench for 50 through Celebi's ability, which allows Pokémon to use attacks from previous evolutions. This gives the deck multiple angles of attack and makes prize mapping against it very awkward. On top of that, your opponent often has to go through a regular Sceptile before even reaching Mega Sceptile, adding another layer of pressure and making the deck even more difficult to navigate against.

While the non-ex Sceptile's attack may initially seem underwhelming, with Leaf Blade dealing 70 damage plus an additional 50 on a coin flip for two energies, it lines up surprisingly well into the current meta. Most notably, it cleanly one-shots Oricorio. It is also much bulkier than people give it credit for, sitting at 140 HP and reaching up to 170 HP with Leaf Cape. Combined with Celebi's ability allowing it to also snipe for 50 damage, it becomes a far more threatening secondary attacker than many expect.

The biggest drawback of the deck is definitely its speed. It naturally operates much slower than many of the aggressive decks currently seeing play, which is why leading with a disruptive Pokémon becomes so important. Goomy and Chingling are the two main options here, and both have their own strengths.

Goomy is the more universally consistent choice regardless of whether you go first or second and performs much better into Sleepscam matchups. However, it can become awkward to move out of the active position, which often pushes you toward playing X Speed. That in itself comes with a cost, since deck space is extremely tight.

Speaking of deck space, this version realistically only has two tech slots available, and there are really only three cards competing for those spaces: Leaf Cape, Lillie, and Field Blower.

I personally opted for Leaf Cape and Lillie to maximize survivability and further strengthen the deck's late game. Field Blower can absolutely be a game-winning inclusion though, especially with the increase in Protective Poncho usage among Top 100 players.

Overall, I genuinely believe this is currently one of the strongest decks in the game if piloted correctly. It has incredible inevitability, strong late-game pressure, and rewards good sequencing and matchup knowledge more than most decks in the format.

Independent StokeZard w/Ramp Charmeleon

I saw someone, i think xatumi, make the comment that stokezard is self sufficient with the ramp charmeleon, so ive been trying to find a pairing mon, and figured since i love darkrai’s ping this would be nice over just sticking him into sleepcore. Any and all help is warranted, this was a somewhat lazy stab tbh

Which NPC card would you like them to add to Pokémon Pocket? And which trainer, leader, or champion who isn't there yet would you like them to add?

Which NPC card would you like them to add to Pokémon Pocket? (By NPCs, I mean those generic characters you see all over the games — the trainers you battle, talk to, or randomly run into throughout the adventure).

For example, like the ones they included of the mountaineer, the parasol lady, or the fisherman.

I dream every expansion that a Hex Maniac card will be released.

And which trainer, leader, or champion who isn't there yet would you like them to add?

Random Battle Expert "consecutive wins" is a nightmare

Finally beat it after a WEEK of retries. 3 times I lost final match having 9 consecutive wins. 1 of them because I get only ONE basic pokemon in 4 rounds (no pokeball, no copycat, nothing). This is a hard challenge

Sharing my deck and strategy tips:

- Magnezone EX can tank 1 hit from most of the computer's Mega EX, keep it in mind. Magnezone EX is basically a win condition, Magnezone non-EX is good for Mega Audino

- Doesn't matter how fast you beat the computer, most important you must have 2 ori in play if opponent has EX to protect yourself from sabrina / cyrus. You can wait 10, 20 rounds and draw full deck until you ready

- Always switch to Raikou if you can during first few rounds. Even sacrificing Raikou for cards worth it

- Roll hard for Magneton + Switch for your active pokemon, it's very powerful start

Why these pokemon specifically?

Is there a TCG specific reason why these pokemon have the Areus mark? I never touched the TCG before Pocket, but I am very familiar with the mainline games, but I can't see the connection between them or with Arceus.

A much needed QoL update…

Can we please get the option to have notifications for when there’s an offer or update on a trade? It’s the most time sensitive thing and there’s no way of knowing otherwise.

Killer fish from Paldean Wonders 🤯🎣

Hello 👋 I'll be your killer fish for the evening, thank you.

Is this deck good? No

Does this deck suck? Yes

Can you only win if your opponent bricks? Yeah

Is it at least fun? Absolutely (kinda)

Been experimenting with this lil guy ever since he dropped back in February and this is my final iteration. I'm interested in what you guys think (I can explain item card choices in the comments if you're curious).

Hiking trail really gave it some legs when mega shine dropped, then the lucky egg with this last set gave it some anti-bricking power. But alas, it isn't enough.

As it currently stands, even if you go 1st and have good luck with your copycat and hiking trail, you're around 2 cards short of being able to attack for 1 energy by turn 3.

If you start 2nd or don't get your copycat first hand, you're probably done for. Lucky egg on a fossil can help you recover, but you're probably going to lose in the end anyway.

What do you guys think? Have I lost my mind? Has the crack finally gotten to me?? Should I swap out the fish for suicune, chienpao, and baxscalibur??? Lmk.

What it feels like to wrap pack after pack of Spacetime Smackdown and still not get a Cyrus

815 pack points down... 😭 Man, this is going to take forever. But I'm DETERMINED to get that mfer! I'm so focused on getting Cyrus that I forgot Mars existed in the same pack.
