I'm still early in stretching my ears. About 2/3 weeks ago I went from a 14g to a 12g plug and the change went super smooth. At the time I thought I could probably go straight to 10g, but decided to wait.

My ears have been doing well at 12g and I planned to size up in another 2 weeks, but one of my plugs fell out last night. I put a 10g in to avoid shrinkage, but I'm not sure if I should keep it in. Should I go back down to 14g until I can replace the plug, or is sizing up early okay here?
