Started at 15 went too fast, suffered a lot of tearing but no known blowouts. Will my lobes ever look decent again lol?
as the title says, my septum is really sensitive, not that it hurts on it's own but i feel more pain for example in situations where i I hit my nose by accident compared to when i don't have my ring in. i think this is because i have it stretched to 2g(6mm) and naturally steel jewelry of that size would cause pressure on my nose, but please let me know if that's normal an should i worry whether it's irritated or something. thanks in advance.
Moved up to 5mm a day or two ago and realized I have this flap or ring at the end of my ears I’m new to stretching and have never experienced a blowout before but I’m certain this is it. There’s always a faint ring of blood around it when I go to clean the area and it kind of hurts at times. Is it time to downsize to a 4 or 3.5mm? I have a hard time with patience as i am really excited about stretching I am aware will I grow a ring of skin around my ears please help!
Been stretching about a year now. I was at 0G for a month and a half, 00G for a month, and today I had no problem hopping up to 11mm. Deadstretching with jojoba oil is my go-to. Tbh I’m really happy with this size-up, I finally feel like I’m at a “big” size, at least compared to something like 0G which I THOUGHT was pretty big. My goal size is 16mm, I should be there early next year. I love my ears 🫶
I have a 4 gauge spring CBR in currently and it's been in there for a good while now, septum is in healthy condition and doesn't give me pain unless somebody pushes the tip of my nose with their finger, or I bump it.
I've been noticing that around 4-2 gauge I'm experiencing something called "septum denting" where my jewelry is running out of sweet spot space and starting to encroach upon my cartilage.
My end goal is to get to a 2 gauge and no larger.
TL;DR: does cartilage mold to the jewelry after time? Does the the cartilage stand firm no matter what? Does it weather away at all or take a different shape?
Thank you for your time guys! I am very curious about how cartilage acts with stretching and I want to learn everything I can.
