Septum denting questions.

Septum denting questions.

I have a 4 gauge spring CBR in currently and it's been in there for a good while now, septum is in healthy condition and doesn't give me pain unless somebody pushes the tip of my nose with their finger, or I bump it.

I've been noticing that around 4-2 gauge I'm experiencing something called "septum denting" where my jewelry is running out of sweet spot space and starting to encroach upon my cartilage.

My end goal is to get to a 2 gauge and no larger.

TL;DR: does cartilage mold to the jewelry after time? Does the the cartilage stand firm no matter what? Does it weather away at all or take a different shape?

Thank you for your time guys! I am very curious about how cartilage acts with stretching and I want to learn everything I can.

Facial scarification?

I have, for as long as I can remember, have always wanted a rather pronounced looking "slash" style scar going diagonally from my cheek, over the eye, and to the tip of my eyebrow. I have been looking for a practitioner to find that will do this work but i can not find any within my state..and the ones that do? Do not offer facial pieces.

Am I being unrealistic with my request and would I be turned away for asking for a piece on my face?

Thank you for your time.

Modern 1903 clone? Anybody make one?

I have a original 1903 but I would love to get a more modern clone or new age make of the model so I can load more modern/powerful loads without fearing of blowing up a beautiful piece of history..Does anybody out there make one?

Assuming you take a scoped rifle for long range tactics and identification during SHTF what cartridge offering would you take if .308/7.62x51 didn't exist?

I'm very much in the PRS scene and this question got thrown out there when I was speaking with some of my buddies while we were shooting. It got me curious what everyone would take?

Assuming finding wasn't an issue I'd choose the 6.8 Western or 30-06 perhaps. How about you?

A Revolver for a first firearm, Cases for why/why not? Thank you.

I am looking to become a firearms owner sometime relatively soon, I have always had a deep passion for firearms and how they can keep you safe in the city or in the woods, brings home food, helps one to be self reliant to a great extent as opposed to not having one. I have been taking safety courses and firearms instruction on and off beforehand, as well as self reading and what not, for a few months now.

I see many folks carry more modern pistols and I love the appeal of them, but I don't believe I will need so many rounds on person.(flex your freedoms though!) I think a Revolver would be a wonderful first gun for the type of things I would be looking for.

My main uses for them would be in order: hunting, bear protection, and self defense.

I was looking at a few models and I believe a S&W 610 mountain 4" in 10MM is a great choice. I do believe some people say negative things for 10MM when it is brought up in bear defense so I wanted to ask what others may think?

Adequate for brown or grizzly? Can it be a bit anemic or does the Buffalo bore choice seem to be sufficient?

Does the 4" barrel length seem adequate enough for full Muzzle velocity or should I look into a 6 inch perhaps? Especially if looking at Buffalo bore or +P ammunition?

Thank you for your time and replies.

What is Swiftness of Action & force of Violence?

I was reading a combatives book and it spoke very vaugely about "swiftness of action" and the "Force of violence".

What are these terms? What is the philosophy behind these ideologies or systems in which militaries adopt them?

I would very much love to learn all there is to know about it.

Thank you for your time.
