Entry Level Jobs
Hi all. I’m sure this post has been done multiple times. I’m trying to help my daughter out. I unfortunately do not have generational wealth I can pass along to her. She was laid off from Where I’m From earlier this year, then found a seasonal job at a greenhouse, which was pretty much her dream job. She was informed yesterday she would be laid off because the greenhouse is not making as much money as they thought. Does anyone know of any greenhouses that are looking for full-time employees or maybe some other type of entry level jobs in the area? She has warehouse experience, but has had bad experiences working in warehouses. She’s pretty down and I’m trying to keep her encouraged. Given the state of things, it’s hard. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. And I know so many people will say ‘there are jobs everywhere, she just needs to apply.’ She has been applying to jobs continuously (even while working at the greenhouse since she knew it would be seasonal), but keeps getting rejections. So…again, any suggestions/advice would be really great. Thank you!
