My Lady Liberty has Acne
My 2026 Reverse Proof Morgan arrived to day and upon opening it I was surprised to see that Lady Liberty had acne on her cheek. I removed the top half of the protective capsule (without touching the coin itself) to confirm that the defect wasn't in the plastic but was on the coin itself.
Is this a minting error or a handling error? Should I return the coin for replacement/refund, or keep it as a rare mint error worth gazillions of dollars?
