Just played Bioshock 2 for the first time.
When I was a kid my mom bought me this game for Christmas, back during the good ol' 360 days. Strange game to buy for a kid, but I guess she thought it was the game that kids were playing during those days. At first, I didn't like it, so I traded it in at Gamestop. Years later, I played through it and gave it a proper chance.
I have to say. This game gave me that indescribable feeling you get when you play a new game for the first time and it's just so good. The story was intriguing throughout, the immersion was excellent, and the good ending with the musical score left me holding back tears. Such a beautiful cinematic that child me would never understand.
I have tried playing through Infinite about ten years ago, but could never beat the last couple missions. Maybe I'll give Bioshock 1 a try as well. But holy fuck I feel so empty after that experience.
What's a game that has given you this indescribable feeling I mentioned?
