Subdivision Surface: Why is this happening?

I cannot find anything that would cause this. It happened twice with a more complicated geometry too and I created this to see if it would do it again.

Deleting and rebuilding that section before extruding brings the same glitch back. It's like it won't let go of the edges in that loop.

Edit: Sorry for the bad photos and non-specific wording. First post in this thread and I only had 2 minutes to get pictures and send out my SOS before I had to run to work.
Needless to say I didn't read the rules either.

Anyway, the only thing I have not tried yet is checking my normals. I am new to blender and I didn't realize faces had an inside and outside. I'll check that once I get back home

I just got my interview results and now I just have more questions.

What is the verdict here?

Is this good? Average?

How long before I hear from them again?

I did just have my interview yesterday (5/12) so I am pleasantly surprised at how quickly this seems to be going on. I'm just so new to this process I'm not sure what to expect.

Just had my interview

I expected to answer more questions. They only asked me

  1. Why do you want to become an electrical worker?
  2. Describe a time when someone really got on your nerves
  3. Describe a project you are really proud of.
  4. Willing to relocate/reliable transportation?

The one I struggled with was #2. I've really only had my family "really" get on my nerves. I almost never get upset to the same degree with other people as I have with my family. The most recent example that wasn't my family was over 3 years, therapy, and new medication ago and I'm a completely different person now. (Not anger management lol)

I even said "I wish I had other examples but I just don't beef with other people" 😅

I did make sure to mention that my family did help me learn conflict resolution so I guess there's that.

I was told I have 10 minutes to impress them and I was only in there for 4. I was the first interviewee of the day and I got both "high" scores on my test.

What do you guys think? Am I cooked?
