My work kind of frowns up people not showing up for work or we have to use PTO for even an hour to go to the doctor or whatever. I don’t know how to let my manager know I have monthly visits with a psychiatrist and I want to start therapy but go figure their jobs are also like a 9-5. I don’t want to put my problems out there but I want to tell them that it’s not a one and done deal.

Any advice on how to communicate that without disclosing my diagnosis?
