Hi all,

I'm trying to find some information online about the button customization in the Suunto app. I've been looking for a pair of headphones that have good podcast controls. Something like being able skip back and forward 10 seconds, and even better if I can just scroll to whenever I want in the podcast file.

Is this a feature with the button customization? Can you fast forward podcasts using the app when in offline mode? They seem like great headphones but I really need to figure out if they can meet my needs for listening to podcasts in the water.

So I've been down the bone conduction rabbit hole lately and am having trouble finding something that suits my needs even at a higher price point. I gave up and bought a pair of generic IFECCO X7's. I've actually found them to be incredible apart from the fact that the MP3 transfer progress can be a bit cumbersome.

My problem is that the audio controls for podcasts are nonexistent. The best I can do is turn off the headphones and they'll remember where I left off and I can continue from there. I would love to have headphones that can skip forward or back 10 seconds. Even better, I would love to switch between music and podcasts during the same swim and have the headphones remember where I left off.

Is there literally any product that does this? I've seen complaints that even the Shokz pro swims have the same issue, but would love confirmation if that's true. I'd like to not spend money on them if they lack such a basic feature.

I've seen some discussion about the Zygo's but the mixed complaints about the connectivity and high price point gives me pause. I'd also like to use the headphones on land but that doesn't seem possible with the Zygo antenna.

Does anyone have any experiences with the Nank Runner Diver2 Pro or the SUUNTO AQUA? Does the Suunto app allow you to skip forward on a track when the headphones are in MP3 mode? Any pair with a decent workaround will also do just fine for me, as long as I can find some way to resume my podcasts from where I desire.

Any guidance you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I'm shocked at how much I already love these budget X7's I took a gamble on, but I don't want to bother spending more on better headphones that can't give me good podcast controls or flexibility.

Edit: I'm also an IOS user and have an Apple Watch if maybe one of the headphones has an app that could somehow have podcasts controls on the watch. I'm not sure how that would work given bluetooth doesn't work in the water but thought I'd add that detail if it helps.
