I got two kinds of oreophila over the last couple of days. Here they are newly potted-up. They both have some growing to do. The green one is a clone from a plant grown from wild-collected seeds at the Meadowview Biological Research Station. It looks to have the most potential for the bushy winter phyllodia which is what I like so much about the plant. The other is a var. Ornata, Dekalb County Alabama.
This is one I'm going to be watching. What will be its final color??
This is the second time I've done this in all the years I've had this plant, but in February I cut all of the leaves and split the plant in half. First new leaves coming in! Looking forward to seeing how it fills out and colors up.
I've been waiting all these years for this glorious game to come out. The proportions, the style of delivery. Some of these one-liners seriously feel like something you could've read in a Calvin and Hobbes comic. I'm now in the process of developing a household occupied by 8 Narutos. Or 7 Narutos and 1 Sasuke.
