Hi all, Wanted to share my new world seed.
- Fresh 1.2 map
- Fully revealed
- Waypoints activated
- Otherwise untouched

Download: https://www.mediafire.com/file/yllqdyc2fvkcesd/Core_Keeper_1.2_Fully_Revealed_Untouched_Map.zip/file (12MB~)
What is in the zip:
- '..\Downloaded-Map-Image\Worldmap.png' a PNG image of the whole map that you can view out of the game.
- '..\Downloaded-Map\maps' These contain folders and files about already revealed areas of the minimap and map for a character. These are optional, if you don't use this your character will have to discover/explore the map.
- '..\Downloaded-Map\worldgenparams' These contain the map generation information. (Required)
- '..\Downloaded-Map\worldinfos' These contain world settings such as the name and difficulty. (Required) But you can edit these in a text editor.
- '..\Downloaded-Map\worlds' This is the map itself. (Required)
If you want to know what everything means and explained in more detail go to 'https://corekeeper.atma.gg/en/Save_data#Save_files'.
How to use this map:
- Download the zip file and extract it into an empty folder so you can change the folder and file names.
- Inside the zip are folders and files named Y or X. For safety I renamed them Y and X so there is no chance of losing your own worlds accidentally.
- You need to rename the folders and files to match a save slot and character of your liking. To do that properly you need to know which numbers your existing worlds and characters use and then change my map files names to a higher number that is not already used. If you want to play on the map with an existing character you need to find out which number (or index) that character has. If you want to know what everything means and explained in more detail go to 'https://corekeeper.atma.gg/en/Save_data#Save_files'. Beware If you played with an existing character on deleted maps or in multiplayer then your world-index count can be off by 1 or more numbers.
- From the extracted zip you need to rename the following folders and files. (X = character-index, Y = world-index) In the examples I'll use my 4th(=3) character and my 6th(=5) world save slot.
- '..\Downloaded-Map\maps\X' This needs your chosen character-index. Example '..\Downloaded-Map\maps\3'
- '..\Downloaded-Map\maps\X\Y.mapparts.gzip' This needs to be an new world-index. Example '..\Downloaded-Map\maps\3\5.mapparts.gzip'
- '..\Downloaded-Map\worldgenparams\Y.json' This needs to be an new world-index. Example '..\Downloaded-Map\worldgenparams\5.json'
- '..\Downloaded-Map\worldinfos\Y.worldinfo' This needs to be an new world-index. Example '..\Downloaded-Map\worldinfos\5.worldinfo'
- '..\Downloaded-Map\worldgenparams\Y.json' This needs to be an new world-index. Example '..\Downloaded-Map\worldgenparams\5.json'
- '..\Downloaded-Map\worlds\Y.world.gzip' This needs to be an new world-index. Example '..\Downloaded-Map\worlds\5.world.gzip'
To find your save files folder on Windows with Steam:
- Open a 'File Explorer' window (any map/folder). In the 'address bar' of the window type in the bar '%userprofile%\appdata\locallow' (without '') and press enter. Then find the folder named 'Pugstorm', navigate the folders 'Pugstorm > Core Keeper > Steam > Your-Steam-ID >' here are your save files for Core Keeper.
- Here you can paste the folders and files you just renamed. Just make sure you paste it in the right place.
For Linux:
- I can only point you to 'https://corekeeper.atma.gg/en/Save_data#Save_data_location' for linux related information.
You should be able to play now.
If something is wrong try to follow the information in this ReadMe again step by step.
When all else fails, pay attention to your save files folder, create a new world and a new character, enter and exit the world. Go back to your save folder and see what is new, change the downloaded files into those numbers and just overwrite those. Then the downloaded world should show up in it's place. you can then choose to delete the newly made character and play with an existing one on the downloaded map or play with the new character.
Have fun, Aapjuh
P.S.
