Hey everyone, I'm writing an essay at the moment, and one topic I'm covering is Venom's transition from villain to anti-hero. I was wondering if any of you comic book historians out there might have a good idea of when that change started to happen, so I can build a little research reading order for it.

Question is pretty much in the title. I loved the Cates and Stegman Venomnibus so much. Unlike any other comics I’ve read. Are there any Omnis that are similar with that same intense feeling and deep lore?
