I(ftm) just booked my consult for my top surgery🥳
And I was telling my parents and they were asking if that's something I really need. I tried explaining that my chest has caused a lot of dysphoria and I'm sick of marks from binding, rashes from tape and not feeling like myself in my body or in my clothes.
But they don't get it and think I'm wasting money on what's the equivalent of getting a boob job or BBL.
I'm visiting my brother for a few days and he wanted to go fishing then out for dinner with some of his friends and I went too.
As I'm fishing a family with two boys come and one of the gets too close to the line and his mother told him to get away from the little boy. (I'm 20 btw)
At dinner the 5 of us were sitting and eating, when the waitress came by she called me sir.
I've been on T for 3 1/2 months so the far only noticeable difference is I can gore very little to facial hair and my voice started dropping at 1 month.
I'm just really happy about it.
I don't really have friends outside of my coworkers but I don't really want them helping until I find a name I'm 100% going to use. I'm trying to find one with some sort of significance that I also like. But I have no idea how to test them out.
-Julian is close to my twin sister's name which my dead name is also close to. Plus it keeps up with the J name idea my parents had when they first had kids before separating
-Dominic starts with the same letter as my younger sister, who is also the only one without a J sounding name on my mom's side.
-James is the closest to my dead name, my stepdad accidentally picked it out for me before I was kicked out, I think it would be kind of funny to choose it.
